We had stayed in Avra Beach six years ago and we did not hesitate to return this time! The family run hotel straight on the beach welcomed us with warmth this time also. We were lucky enough to get a very good room with sea view, thank you for that! The location is the best, you can dip in the sea in a minute anytime you want. It is in the beginning of the busy area, you can get to shops and restaurants in minutes, but the hotel itself is in a quiet oasis by the sea. The breakfast was fulfilling and with many choices, something for everyone. You get to enjoy it inside or out on the patio as you like. The hotel has the most convenient parking possibilities, that is a big plus during high season. We also had dinner in the Avra Taverna, worth the visit! Food was good and fresh + the service quick and pleasant. All the staff overall in the Avra Beach facilities were very friendly and welcoming, the Greek-family-run-environment we always look for and love.

Very nice yard, grass and trees, very good for children. Location is very nice! Very good breakfast! Lady who clean they did a very good job, and they are very nice lady's.

Small baderom! Food from taverna is low to medium quality! You need pay extra 4 euro for each sunbad!

Good location, close to beach and Nidri centre. restaurant staff very pleasant and good location and good choice menu.

Room very basic and dated. Not enough storage space in bathroom. Toilet cistern kept trickling, kept us awake at night. Air con very poor and weather was hot! No lift in hotel, had to carry luggage up stairs.

The rooms were great, plenty of storage and also it was nice that when we arrived there were a small bottle of shampoo and body wash with two bottles of water in the fridge which was a nice touch. The location was great, right on the beach We had breakfast the first and last day, nothing wrong with it just we preferred eating at another place. There was a great choice of breakfast, toast, pastries, egg, bacon sausages (Although my husband said that these were cold) Cereal fruit yoghurts, tea coffee and juice. The bins were emptied every day, the sheets and towels every other day which was great. Staff friendly we will definitely being staying her again and recommending it to others

To be honest there wasn't anything we didn't like

Clean, comfortable with good air con. Easy access to the beach. Nice to have taverna next door. Excellent food there as well. Good car parking close to rooms. Air con and safety box were included.

The shower area at the side of the hotel for guests who had been swimming needed sweeping and several hoses lying on the ground could have been a hazard for those older residents.

The location was great, at the end of Nidri, you could walk into town along the beach or main road. The breakfast had a good choice. The views from the restaurant straight onto the beach were lovely. There was someone always on Reception if you had any questions.

The toilets in the rooms sometimes were hard to flush or broken and noisy.

Hotelroom was fine as we expected - nothing special, but clean, it was cleaned every day, also towels were changed daily. The bathroom is quite small, but was OK. The balcony was big enough for 3 and had a nice view to the mountains. The staff was very nice and helpful, they helped us everything during the week, thanks for it! The surroundings of the hotel is amazing! The private beach, the taverna, the crystal clear sea is beautiful, that's why it's absolutely recommended to choose Avra Beach hotel! The beach is just some steps from your room, not crowded, and there are wonderful plants. The center of Nidri is 3-4 min to walk, also the harbour and main street is very charming.
