The cottage is very quaint and perfect for a couple or single traveller. The location is great and very accessible to the University and an easy drive to downtown. Unfortunately we did have a couple of issues, the bathroom sink did not drain properly. I had to use the plunger to get it to empty which was unpleasant. The French Press leaked and made a mess all over the counter, once I realized this I had to put a plate underneath it. Finally the quality of the towels was not good, they are very old and scratchy. Definitely need to be replaced.

Gorgeous alternative to boring, overpriced hotel. Perfectly situated to move son in and out if University, super cute & clean, beautiful grounds with a completely private space. All if this for a very reasonable price, thanks for making our stay in Victoria, super easy and very comfortable!

Although small, this is a lovely cosy place for 1-2 people. It was great that I could bring my dog. I had no issues during my stay here. Matt is a great communicator.

Very clean and cozy. Cute neighborhood. Owner communicated clearly. We got to meet a local deer as we got into our car. 😀 The full-size bed a was a bit small for two…was expecting a queen. Maybe I missed that in the details. The small fridge was fine size-wise, but the ice cream we put in the freezer area was melted by the next day. Could use some sugar in the cabinet. Those are the nit-picks. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. Thanks!

Overall great experience! Easy to find location. Parking available on the street. Check in was super easy. Comfortable bed, well fitted kitchen and bathroom and location worked out well for me. And it was quiet too! Worked out well with my dog although there was no grassed yard, we got out into the quiet neighborhood and near by beaches and parks for walks each day. Only concern if I were being more picky was the cleanliness of the shower walls and doors and the bathroom window caulking (mouldy). Owner is apparently taking care of re-caulking soon. I will definitely stay here again!

Location worked great for getting my son settled in at UVIC. Carriage house is secluded in an endless garden.

This was a great location and great value for money for my stay in Victoria.

When in Victoria we love to stay at the Cozy Carriage House. The location is convenient as it is close to arterial roads. Tucked in the gorgeous garden of the main house, the carriage house is a welcoming oasis. As a meaningful addition our dog is welcome. During this stay there were some incomplete maintenance and cleaning tasks, but this did not take away from the comfort of our stay. We will return!

The property and location was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter at UVIC. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting this location. Our only complaint was that the wrong information was given to us in an email and caused a bit of panic as we thought for a while the property was in the Comox Valley... the manager didn't seem to see the big deal with that and did not offer even an apology. So the place was great but I hope that they are more careful with managing the information they send out to their renters. Thanks for the stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cozy Cottage. It was well equipped and private. The location is a familiar one to us having lived in the area many years ago. A short walk down the hill to Allenby Cafe, Canarvon Park or up the road to UVIc.

Suite is within walking distance to coffee shop and deli. Well set up for cooking meals. Suite would benefit from a few minor repairs and a bit more attention to cleaning. Didn’t expect to need to clean fridge on arriving. Would be helpful to have instructions in suite for turning on heat. Suite manager did not respond to our message left on their contact number requesting help with heat.

The cottage had everything we needed but it is just one room with a double bed so be prepared if two guests prefer space to spread out. The location is great and we would stay again.
