Clean, friendly people. Super helpful host. Place and location is very romantic!

Don Carlos was a great breakfast spot and good price, the guest house was in a great location. It was a feast day and the locals gave us tiny tastes of a local wine in a disposable medicine cup (we tasted a sip but as I am not a drinker we threw it away when we got to the hotel - but it was a nice gesture).

We booked the quadruple room for 2 adults. In the description and in the confirmation email, we were told that we would have 2 beds (which could accommodate up to 4 people). When we arrived, only one double bed was made up (with pillows and bedsheets). We went to reception to ask for an additional sheet so we can use the second (bunk) bed as there was no bedding on this. We were then told that if we want to use the other bed in the room then we would need to pay extra. I showed them the booking confirmation email which specified 2 beds (and of course, the room included these two beds). They said that since we were only two people we had to share one bed and the other bed in the room cannot be used by us. This all occurred after we had paid in full. We insisted that we were not going to pay extra to make use of what we already paid for. They then belligerently replied: “so what will you do?”. They eventually said that as a compromise we should cancel the booking on booking.com so they don’t have to pay fees to Booking. I insisted that I would not do so. They tried to make it out as though we were in the wrong and they were doing us a favour and so we should take “one second” to cancel the booking. I told them to change the information they provide on booking.com if it’s inaccurate but I want what I paid for. In the end they gave us the bedsheet (we split the pillows between us) but it was after 20 mins or so of arguing. This really put a downer on our trip. I didn’t feel I could trust them after this so we even took videos of the room afterwards to make sure they didn’t try to lie against us. Otherwise, the room was nice, well decorated and convenient. If they didn’t behave in the way I’ve described then it would have been a nice stay. My advice for those who wish to book is to confirm everything in writing with the guest house to ensure it is as described and before the free cancellation time runs out so that you do not have any of these issues.

The hosts were very kind and friendly and gave us excellent advice and recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing.

Staff was really lovely and the hotel was clean and comfortable! Pietro and Antonella left some lovely Malvasia in the room for us, such a lovely thought. My only tip would be to enable tourists to refill their water bottles (maybe with a water fountain) rather than selling plastic bottles.

The owners were so helpful, gave us recommendations on best beaches resturants directions to the Castle etc. They sent through what's on guides, local entertainments and room service details all by WhatsApp. They were always polite and friendly whenever they saw us. I asked for extra pillows and they were brought up within 20 mins, they gave us the impression they cared about our stay with them. Bed and pillows clean and comfortable( I am a poor sleeper) but slept pretty well. Great modern shower and bathroom too, with plenty of fresh towels for the whole family were provided. The balcony albeit small was fantastic to stand and people watch.

My only grumble was no kettle in the room, couldn't understand why there wasn't one?

We had a short, but amazing stay! Hotel is lovely, we enjoyed every minute inside. It is decorared with style, mixture if Italy, history and local design...it is inside of lovely narrow streets in this amazing town of Bosa. Great stay! 🤌🤌🤌😊😊😊 breakfast was served in local coffee shop and it was really nice!

No complaints.

The owners were lovely, so friendly and helpful. They even made a booking for our dinner on our behalf. The room was immaculately clean, the decor soothing and had air-conditioning! A win when it was 41°C outside. The town is beautiful and far less crowded than many in Sardinia in July. The central location meant we could easily walk around the historic centre.

Parking and where to park was a challenge despite our hosts' directions as we were unsure which areas we were permitted to park in the parking areas.
