Beautiful cottage with amazing surroundings my 9 year old granddaughter loves this place and the high light for her is feeding the animals with the owners ..

really clean property, with a lovely welcome hamper which was really appreciated. had everything we needed for a short break away. hot tub area was clean and we enjoyed watching the alpacas while we sat in the tub. friendly host and the kids loved the animals. would recommend to friends and family and would return!

could have been a shower/bath mixer upstairs on the bath taps to allow a quick wash upstairs (shower room downstairs only). And only cos i’m being really picky: we would have appreciated some kind of path or stepping stones to the hot tub area (as we had to walk throughout cut grass and got grass in the tub and the house despite our best efforts! sorry!) and the frying pans were a bit warped and didn’t work that well on the hob.

The grounds, with its own woodland and stream are just fabulous, our dog had such a great time running around. The location is wonderfully quiet but just a half hour's drive to some beautiful beaches (Poppit Sands, Tresaith and Newport beach to name a few) and through countryside with sensational views! The cottages are very private, and are excellently equipped but, if you have any queries, the hosts do live on site and are so friendly and helpful. The welcome pack and card were fantastic and they had even put up a Christmas tree that made it feel even more like home from home - a very nice touch! Generally, our first 'go to' for a UK break is Devon or Cornwall however, we would highly recommend Wellstone Cottages for anyone looking for a tranquil staycation in a beautiful park of the UK with equally as good scenery.

Certainly not a complaint but just a personal point; as we are used to a super king size bed at home, the double in the master bedroom did feel small to us and the mattress just a bit too soft. The hot tub is very private but accessed across the garden that was quite boggy because of recent heavy rain - perhaps a stepping stone path to it would help. The garden at Jasmine Cottage is very large and certainly lends itself to being able to have its own tub, which would be even better :)

Everything! The cottage was warm and welcoming and completely adorable! We loved the quirky style of the cottage and exploring the massive grounds of the property! (even seeing Winnie and Pooh in the Forrest!) We met most of the animals- which as you said were all friendly- I even caught the rogue duck for the cleaner (who was so friendly, funny and welcoming!)

Our stay was brilliant. Vince and Les were very welcoming and we loved the hot tub. Place was clean and rustic.

Property was well appointed and cosy with rustic charm. Great patio and garden area.

The whole place was very tranquil. The children loved feeding the animals in the morning then having a soak in the hot tub. A perfect place to unwind with great beaches only a short drive away. There's a Spar store only about 4 miles away and a decent chippy. Lovely walks too along The Taff straight from the cottage
