Nicely furnished, good location, well equipped and nice and clean
The cleaner was a bit unfriendly because we were 30 minutes late leaving due to over- sleeping. Totally understand it was an inconvenience to her and completely our fault though.

Location was good. The owner was very welcoming.
It didn't live up to the 'Luxury' title.
The carpets were worn, and the kitchen worktop was broken. The wardrobe in the second bedroom was full of stuff, so it was unusable. We had lots of tiny moths flying about.
The upstairs apartment was very noisy, you could hear everything.

The tv signal was weak. Was out most of the time, Sunday evening spent some time in the apartment and the tv signal struggled from time to time

From the start a friendly welcome from the host. The location of the apartment easily accessible to the beach and amenities. The apartment itself comfortable and pleasant.
The size of the shower, however it worked perfectly well, just would have liked a little more space. Fresh towels and bath mat provided.

Great location, just a short walk from the beach, many shops nearby (Aldi, Morrisons) pristine tidiness, stylish interior, well equipped kitchen, full of light sitting room with a cute loveseat in the bay window. Great shower, comfortable bed, snow white large towels.
Swimming pool, gym opposite side of the road, eateries nearby.
Fresh fruits, tea, coffee, Swiss roll at arrival, very kind gesture!

Lovely, spacious and very comfortable flat in a great location. Swimming pool and supermarkets across the road and a very short walk to the beach. Communication with Oliver was good before as well as during our stay. We were allowed to leave our suitcases at the flat for an extra couple of hours after check-out, which was much appreciated since we were travelling by train. We stayed during the coronation weekend, and the cake and bunting provided were lovely touches! My children are asking to go back, and I don't blame them!
Access to the garden was blocked off during our stay, which was a little disappointing. It would have been great to have a notice somewhere about wifi access, to save us from crawling on the floor to find the password at the back of the router! I asked for three extra towels for use at the swimming pool, and had to pay £9 for these, which felt a little stingy when we had already paid hundreds of pounds to stay at the flat. There is no dining table, only a breakfast bar with space for two people, so I had to eat every meal standing up or sitting on the sofa. I would get rid of one of two of the huge armchairs, which would provide enough space for a small table. Would also have loved recycling facilities, and instructions for where to leave rubbish.

Very close to all places offering selection of food and traditional English breakfast. We liked the location and the comfortable indoor space of the apartment. All facilities within walking distance made our stay very relaxed. The independent character of local businesses make Herne Bay unique place on a map.
A little detail re cleanliness: the limescale wasn't fully removed from the kitchenware.

The apartment is spacious and beautiful, and was in an ideal location for our walking holiday along the coast. The host had agreed in advance to rent us extra beach towels, so we were able to swim at Heron's (directly opposite) which was very helpful. It was a chilly afternoon when we visited but the heating was quick and effective when we turned the thermostat up. Using the lock box for the keys to access the apartment worked fine. You can hear people moving around in the flat above, but it didn't disturb us.
There was no welcome pack, despite previous reviews suggesting written information could be provided.
I had to contact the host 3 times by phone - once to get the check-in information, which finally came through at 3:20, secondly to find out where the extra bed we had booked was (I was surprised to have to find and make this up myself), and thirdly to get instructions for the TV.
The TV had access to netflix and amazon prime, but it didn't have a great connection so it wasn't a great watching experience.
There were only 3 bowls, which was shame when having breakfast as a family of 4.

It was a perfect little flat for our short stay with our kids visiting family nearby. Really lovely flat, clean and everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment looks amazing, as we went for New Year's Eve there was even a beautiful Christmas tree. There was everything we needed for the stay. It's a good location near the beach and restaurants.

This may be beyond the control of the host, but the automatic light in the communal hallway doesn't stay on for very long - not long enough to get up to the first floor without the lights going off.

The location is amazing, the propoerty is well presented and clean. The host was friendly and offered advice on local attractions.
The people in the flat above us were very noisy into the early hours of the morning, we could hear them having conversations. It was as if they decided that 11pm was the right time to start cleaning their flat above us, it was so noisy!

The host met us on arrival and carried cases up to the flat. He had provided flowers, fruit, cake and milk. The flat is in an excellent location, a very short walk to the beach, two supermarkets, and there is a leisure centre and cinema opposite.
Lack of instructions for using cooker, shower, etc. WiFi code could do with being somewhere accessible rather than having to crouch down to the underside of the router.

The host was very friendly and informative about eating out in the area. Extras were provided such as milk, teas and coffees, fruit bowl and cake. The apartment was comfortable, clean and relaxing - even had welcoming vase of flowers. Also ideally located just 2 minutes from the beach and facilities.

It’s too close to supermarkets, also in front of the cinema, pool and gym. 3 mins walk to the beach. Rooms are big and clean. WiFi is too fast, tested 75Mbps. Friendly, kind and helpful host. Highly recommended.
Handles of some cupboards and doors had little stains but it was not a huge problem.

We had a very comfortable stay in a quiet location and close to all amenities. The apartment was clean, fresh and well equipped and the owner and cleaner were both helpful and friendly. Some very welcome supplies on arrival were a bonus too!

The property is in a great location, situated on a nice side street and only a short walk to the seafront. The property had everything we needed for a comfy stay, and we particulalry liked the large living room with seating in the bay window. The host was excellent, spending time with us on arrival pointing out places to visit and places to eat out at, and there were lots of nioce little touches on arrival such as milk in the fridge, a full fruit bowl and cake, that made us feel very welcome.
