Thisa stay was perfect for myself and best friend.

It was a nice condo, exactly what we needed. Everything was as expected and Terry even came to check on us to make sure we had plenty of towels. She was very kind. There was also dove toiletries which was better than at the last place we stayed. I also liked the pillows. The only issue was when we took the trash out, there was a hole in the bottom of the bag and our trash fell out on the floor. That was annoying but just a bad circumstance that I doubt happens to anyone else. There was a little trash from the previous guest but it wasn’t anything gross. Also, one of our towels was a “dog towel” but we didn’t notice until after Terry had talked to us. I’m sure she would have traded it out for us if we had asked but we had an extra. Overall, good stay. I’d stay there again.

The property was older, but kept very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The price is a bit high for what you get, but cheaper than a DUI. Having breakfast right around the corner at The Biker and The Baker was fantastic.

Right in the middle of town. Very easy check in. Safe and quiet building. Bed was super comfortable. Big windows bring in lots of clean mountain air. Window air conditioner worked well. Everything you need for a quick getaway.

Great location

3rd time I've stayed at the Palace. Great location to all Salida has to offer. Room #203's shower is almost too small for my 6'2" frame to navigate. Will make sure I choose another room next time.

I do not care for the high cleaning fee and the person cleaning leaves an envelope for a tip on top of the high fee. I would have chose a different place if one was available at short notice.

The bed was very comfortable. And overall a good experience. The kitchen could use a few upgrades to the items in it fir those that like to cook.

In town for class reunion. Couldn't have been better.

The good: the location is perfect for your stay in Salida you are in the middle of the town shops, restaurants and grocery. The price was decent for Colorado and the unit was very clean. The small kitchen and eating area was fine for our needs. The shower water pressure was awesome! The bad: There are very steep stairs to get to your unit. Not a place if you are handicapped or any type of mobility issues The furniture is the unit is not comfortable at all. I understand they may go with the period of the building but I was not comfortable relaxing in the unit. The shower…..it’s tiny…..the pressure is great but there is barely room to move/turn around. If you are much over 250lbs you may have issues. I’ve stayed in other condos in this building and I would choose those next time. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location and experience

Absolutely beautiful condo easy check in process and easy access to everything. The only complaints i have are the shower is too small, not really enough room to move around in there and wash. I also didnt see an AC but i dont remember that being advertised, but look out on hot nights. Other thing is the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Luckily there is a quiet period that is supposedly enforced and i didnt stay there much during the day, just really to sleep, but could absolutely hear everything through the walls. Those are the only reasons id give 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise its a beautiful and perfect room with very convenient access downtown and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I have stayed at the Palace hotel for years and have always loved it . After the hotel was sold we were worried but the room was equally as comfortable and lovely ! Thank you for the beautiful room !!

Bed was very comfortable. It was nice to spread out a bit. Also, being able to prepare a few meals in the room was a nice bonus.

Management company advertised a sold property! Changed it without any charge, so that was good. Better communication would be helpful! The property was great, the interior design and art work is amazing (local artists)! Location is great! Overall experience was an A!

Beautiful remodel on this historic building. Great proximity to S mountain trails and all of the downtown businesses. Would recommend this quaint room to any couple. The space is adequate for a couple or single person. The kitchenette has a mini fridge only, so keep your frozen purchases small. The bathroom is large but the shower will be a tight fit for anyone on the heavier side…it’s smaller than a standard shower. We loved our stay. It was quiet with great proximity to all the amenities we were interested in.

Great location near river and downtown Salida life.

Came to Salida for a quick getaway with my daughter. The property was spotless, and the location was amazing- we could walk almost everywhere! Lovely stay, will definitely recommend!

This stay in Salida Co was certainly enhanced with the comfort, amenities, and ambience of this sweet salon.

The room is as advertised. A charming suite with historic decor. Very clean and good location next to restaurants, shopping, park and the river. I can say the shower was the smallest I’ve ever seen and the locks were a bit tricky. I was on second floor near stairs leading to entry and you could hear the door slamming as people came in and out. Overall it was nice.

We needed a place near our son’s work in Buena Vista and The Palace was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Check in couldn’t have been easier and the communication was very informative. We had zero questions or concerns. Loved the location across from the park and near the River. Walked up the street to all the nearby shops. Dinner at the restaurant next door was fabulous and they took us without reservations. Loved our stay and have already shared info about this hotel with friends who travel that area. It is now on our list for next time!

Loved the historic feel of the property. Made me feel like I was a part of that era somehow. Check in and out was super easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place to others as somewhere to stay in Salida.
