some hassle re allocated car parking space from a neighbour with a Porsche who couldn’t get into his car despite my car parked correctly - he had a weight problem!

The location was great, everything you needed was within walking distance. Good selection of home entertainment incl dvds, books etc. All linen was included. Good size bathroom and en-suite. Good sized rooms. Lots of storage and plenty coat hangers in the wardrobes.

Flat seemed a bit tired. Could do with sprucing up. Too many unnecessary pictures. Towels left in the main bedroom had seen better days. One towel had so many threads pulled on it you could not use it. Towels did not smell fresh mainly I think because they are kept in closed plastic boxes under the bed. Stains on carpets need to be seen to. Table cloth on arrival was just bundled up and shoved between the legs of the table. Shelves in the kitchen cupboards could do with a clean. On arrival both the building door and the door to the flat were open/unlocked.

Lovely clean apartment with everything we needed, in a beautiful spot and close to everything in the stunning village of Ballater. Dog friendly too

Location was brilliant just a 2 minute walk into town centre - apartment was self catering so no supplies there - you made your own breakfast and dinner - so we brought some of our own food and things like teabags sugar milk bread cereal etc we purchased from the local coop and also snacks and stuff for dinner or we went out for dinner - was good we had the choice to stay indoors for dinner if we were tired after hillwalking or decide to go out for dinner if we felt like it - had 2 bathrooms which was a bonus plus lovely and warm - was perfect - rooms not looking onto River Dee but when you walked round back River Dee was there and was lovely

Everything was lovely about the apartment-though checkout at 10 - I feel wee bit early - no negatives about the apartment itself though was brilliant and very clean throughout

Great location - right by centre of village and bus stops but also nice and peaceful. Good value for money compared to many places in the area. Host was great and the property warm and comfortable.

The location is great just on the edge Ballater and on the river bank. House was warm, very clean and comfy. I cannot recommend it enough. Loved our stay. You will not be disappointed if you book this place.

The location was great as it was within easy walking to the town of Ballater. The apartment was comfortable and relaxing and had all the amenities we required.

The location was great. Very handy for cafes/ shops. Lovely location beside river. Private parking. Dog friendly which was important to us. The apartment was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Would recommend!

Good clean accommodation in a great location. Everything we needed for a lovely holiday.

the only negative was that Booking.com didn't provide details for where to park and where the keysafe was or the code for the keysafe. This meant when we arrived at the property we had no means to get in. We were fortunate to arrive early and the cleaner was still there to help us.
