-Very friendly check in experience and friendly staff in general (one lady remembered some of our breakfast wishes) -parking next door, they took care registering our car for the ZTL -everything is new -seems to be one of the better hotels in marina de cecina -good colour concept in the room -good value for the money -free minibar – that is a great suprise, we got softdrinks, water and one beer a day for free -breakfast until 12 -beach is directly behind the hotel (payment for beach chairs, public beach is nearby, but not nice, many stones and dirt in the sand) -nice sunny roof terrace, if you do not want to go the beach -strong wifi, reaches up to the beach -ambilight TV, German and English programs available

Checkin: -a week before checkin they mailed us information about self-check in, but there was no URL in it. Personal check in was also possible. Hotel in general: -there is no reception at night. The backdoor is open all the time, which creates an unsecure feeling, burglary seems possible. On top of that, one has to go around the house to reach the backdoor, on the way it is completely dark, no pleasant experience -at the door of the roof terrace there is an outside door handle missing – it is hard to open the door from the outside without a handle -the parking garage is a bit tight, the parking building looks a bit „rough", not ready for electronic vehicles -no exit signs or other security like fire extinguisher in the hotel visible Room in general: -small safe, not enough space for electronic devices like tablets, documents and valuables -the safe is not built in the wall or the closet, so it is not safe if someone breaks in - so it has no function! -it is badly soundproofed, you can hear every step above you and on the hallway – absolutely catastrophic -we got woken up every morning before 7 because staff was using the door next to our room loudly and frequently – one staff member slammed the door every 2 minutes – horrible !!(unfortunately we were on the ground floor) – we used earplugs to get better morning sleep between 7 and 11 a.m. -small window, not enough light (ground floor) -on the other side of our window was a public/beach restroom, so we did not open it because of possible smell -some of the lamps in the room are skewed -the television is on the left side of the bed, so it is not convinient, if two people want to watch together. The desk with the TV could have been exchanged with the table in front of the bed. Or the TV could have been assembled on the wall opposite to the bed. -there is no full-person-mirror -there is only one trashcan in the whole room, in the bathroom -not enough power outlets.

+ location on the beach + minibar + friendly and willing staff + parking place + clean - there was a serious leakage problem with basin, they had to know before our arrival and repair took 2 days - hotel is newly renovated and they still had to finish a few details - simple breakfast It would be excellent for a little bit lower price.

The location is right on the beach, easy parking.

Staff is unprofessional, new showers leak all over the floor, unfinished, poor ventilation from our rooms.
