Beautiful, clean, remodeled, good location

No air conditioner and july in Kauai is hot and couldn’t sleep at night it was like an oven had windows open and even though there were screens we got eaten alive with bug bites.

It was 14c not 6b.

Confusing message about apartment . It was 14c in reall But messages were about 6b. It took time to find real place.

the location is very convenient and the beds are comfortable beyond that the property needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning

We arrived and the property had not been cleaned and was in a very unpleasant condition. windows in several rooms did not open or shut (no air flow), the kitchen was infested with ants, the fridge shelves fell off whenever anything was moved, the ceiling vents leaked water when it rained, screen door was ripped, toilet paper dispenser ripped out of wall, and these maintenance items went on and on. General cleanliness beyond the changeover things was lacking such as screens in windows were filthy and ceiling fans were also filthy. above was most frustrating but contacting the property management firm was even more frustrating - calls were not returned, when speaking to someone they were off continent and of little assistance and emails were not returned. We were successful in getting a maintenance person in to take care of some of the things that could be quickly taken care of and after several weeks of back and forth with property manager got a modest compensation for inconvenience When we booked through Booking.com the booking went directly to Vacasa. We booked unit 6B based upon reviews and photos but when we checked in we got 6A - not same unit, not as well appointed and definitely not as well maintained. We questioned the practice of booking a specific unit and getting a different one and were told it is standard practice.

Beach access and shopping center within walking distance. Spacious for 4 people.

Pool was closed. Would have liked to have been notified at time of booking.
