The home was even nicer than I’d expected. Easy access to the beach and the beds were super comfy.

We stayed on this property with four teenagers, myself, my sister, and our elderly mother and had a very relaxing stay. The home is across the street from the beach with a safe and convenient crosswalk, conveniently located to the grocery store (driving distance) and Carlsbad Village which has many local restaurants and shops is walking distance. The home was warm when we arrived but quickly cooled down once we turned on all the fans and opened all the windows. We were granted early check-in which was fantastic because we had arrived three hours prior to check in time. The outside shower was super convenient to wash off sand when we returned from the beach. The teens were able to come and go from the house to the beach throughout the day. Parking in the rear of the house was nice as side access is gated off. The driveway is extremely tight, so would not work with a large truck/vehicle. We were able to park our small SUV and Nissan Sentra just fine. Beach toys, including boogie boards, umbrellas, and chairs are provided for guest use. Some are fairly worn, but still usable. The only things missing were cooking items like oil, salt and pepper, condiments, paper plates/cups and extra rolls of toilet paper. Toiletries are tiny, so bring your own. Aside from that everything was fabulous and clean! We found great entertainment with the pool table, dartboard and spa in the evening hours. Will definitely plan to stay here again!

So close to the beach. Hot tub, pool table and dart board were great. Close to everything - legoland, strawberry patch and food. East check in and check out. Family friendly

Location was great, ample parking which is a treat by the beach. The house was clean and plenty of space for all of us. We would definitely stay again at this location. Thanks for making this an easy process for us .

Love this place, a few things we noticed - top bunk bed needs repair - hot tub was a little dirty upon arrival and very foamy - parking gate stopped working second day into stay - kitchen lights over kitchen island shorting off and on making loud buzz - stone in master shower flaking off, putty around window coming off.

Our family loved this place! Perfect for families with kids. Location is amazing. Close to Legoland and short walk to the beach. Home was spacious. We loved pool table and spa! We would stay here again.

Loved the fact that you can walk safely across the street to the beach. Also, lots of space for our family of 5. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, living area and kitchen -- all open so that we could be together but not too close :)

Perfect location! We had so much fun and loved the outdoor spaces. Walking distance to everything you would want to do in Carlsbad. The kitchen is nicely set up and has a great oven!

From the front door to the back of the house WOW the Hot Tub Pooooool Table the Master is Great just the 2 of us 2nd time will be back again and again the bed was very good the view close to town fire pit and fire place in Master WOW

This was a perfect stay of 10 days for our family. All amenities were nice with a wonderfully appointed kitchen for family meals.

We loved the location, close to beach and shopping. The house had everything we needed. We loved the pool table and hot tub. We only had one little issue (broken coffee maker) and Vacasa quickly brought us a new one.

Great location, short walk to beach (practically back yard). House was great for family and the rental company was super easy to work with. This is a great spot for a family beach get away. Pictures are beautiful but don’t do the place justice.

The location was perfect - walking distance to beach and downtown. There is plenty to do at the beach house with games, movies, pool table and hot tub. This was a great place to escape the Arizona heat, work, school and the hustle of everyday life!

The place was fantastic. Close to the beach. Close to the main strip with so many great restaurants. The hot tub was great, and it had two outdoor showers. The BBQ was used 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The pool table was the most fun, settled many differences of opinions with the pool table. All in all, a great place! I would stay again!

The reason for four stars instead of five: We originally rented this property through VRBO and were surprised when it transferred to Vacasa without our knowledge. (I went to review the listing on VRBO and it said it was no longer available.) We had paid a deposit to VRBO yet no one bothered to tell us about the change or apologize for the inconvenience. Vacasa did make some concessions, however, we did lose some money with the change. Everything else was great! The house is in a perfect location, it is beautifully maintained with a lovely garden. It is within walking distance to lots of great restaurants. At the house, there are lots of places to sit and relax. The kitchen is incredible!! Very well supplied and perfect for socializing while cooking. The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms were super clean, and the laundry was so convenient. We loved it! The only problem we had was with the DVD player, which did not work as described in the instructions (we even had an engineer with us who could not figure it out). I highly recommend this property!

Before he passed away, my father lived in the Carlsbad/La Costa area since the 1970s. My step-mother is still in the area, although not in the home they shared for almost 30 years. When I was looking for a vacation home in the area that would allow me to experience everything I used to experience while being at my dad's, and would allow me to be able to easily visit my step-mom, I knew the exact area I wanted to be near. This home provided absolutely everything I hoped it would provide, and more. I wanted to be (really) near Carlsbad Beach and I wanted a home that would comfortably fit my family. Unfortunately not everyone I hoped would join us was able to make the trip, but for the four of us who did make it the house was terrific. It is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is beautiful. The living spaces gives everyone plenty of room and all the outdoor spaces are just right. You can choose to be comfortably together or find a nook to be alone - and most spots have an ocean view. You can actually sit at the dining room table and glimpse a slice of the ocean. We made use of all the amenities including playing the piano, soaking in the hot tub, played pool, and had nightly chats around the fire pit. We walked on the beach up to Carlsbad every morning and sat on the beach (in chairs provided) to watch gorgeous sunsets. My only regret was that my entire family could not join us - so we are seriously considering a repeat visit next year. Thank you for giving me the exact experience and memories I had hoped for.

Killer location, one house off the beach - easy walk to the sand. Jacuzzi, BBQ, VERY comfortable layout with high end finishes and ample linens and towels. Very clean and BETTER than the pictures (which is very rare!). Can't wait to rent this again!!
