Very nice host. The fruits and cake she gave as a gift were very fine and nice.

From the moment we arrived at Salmen, we were greeted by our exceptional host and shown around the spacious property. The accommodation was fully equiped with everything we needed for our week long stay. The views of the lake were stunning from the sunloungers in the garden. Our host couldnt have looked after us better, letting us know of what there was to do around where we stayed and even dropped off local delicacies from time to time. We were given a bottle of bubbly after completing IM Austria which we were genuinely over the moon with. We loved our stay here and are already planning to return next year.

Everything was perfect.

Anna-Marie's home is just perfect. The view of the Lake is just unreal, the location is secluded enough to feel like your in the middle of no where when your actually so close to everything you need. Super comfortable beds, we stayed for a week and the children didn't ask once to switch on the TV as the views entertained them enough - which was a big bonus! Anna-Maria even baked us some delicious treats after my husband completed the Austria Ironman! We will definitely be going back there for a visit x

Nothing!! We loved everything about our stay.

We spent a fantastic week at Salmen Cottage. The studio is cozy, airy and functional. The kitchenette is comfortable and very well equipped and the bathroom is super-clean. The windows have a breathtaking view over the lake Our landlady and her staff, were extremely kind and professional! They were also very helpful giving us tips and advice to visit the region.

The apartment was really clean and comfortable. The hosts were really nice! They gave us a better room than the one booked because it was free and they also gave us a lot of brochures for activities to do in the region. We couldn't enjoy the garden of the property but it is really nice! Specially for organizing a nice meal with view of the lake.

It was a bit far from the center of Pörtschach, a car is needed for a better transportation

Very comfortable, clean and warm apartment in wooden style, most of furniture is made of wood. We were for New Year, so it was very cozy. Heating was working very well, we wore only T-shirt while outside was -6. Beautiful view to the Worthersee lake, at night and day. Very good and clean bathroom with towels and toiletries, good equiped mini kitchen with toster, microwave, two coffee machines, fridge, cutlery... Flat TV with 50-60 programs. We got welcome with beer, water, fruit and cookies. At New Year's morning we were surprised with little present in front of door!!! Good location near Portschach, Velden, Klagenfurt, Villach, Gerlitzen....

Location is on the little hill, little bit far from any events, city centre, stores... You have 15-20 min walking to reach some bars, restaurant, store or Portschach centre. We were looking for something like that, so it was no problem for us (car)
