Well furnished apartment in great location within walking distance to Amboise town centre. We appreciated having a kitchen with good sized dining area. We were provided with a good supply of towels and it was handy to be able to use the washing machine.

We stayed in mid September when it was still warm. Fans in both bedrooms are needed for comfortable sleeping. The tower fan in one of the rooms was missing screws and was quite fragile. It should be replaced.

Location, size, parking, and good water pressure

Bathroom was a bit tight, and blinds kept falling off.

Perfectly located.

Ideally located a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Parking is available for one car, with further free parking available 200 metres away in a public car park.

This apartment had some great large rooms and was close to town. The sofa bed was one of the most comfortable and large we had slept in. The kitchen was well stocked and there was little extras like laundry and dishwasher tabs.

Unfortunately some small maintenance issues seem to be ongoing. The main head of the shower, mentioned in previous posts was still not working, twice we had blinds fall off their hangers and need to be placed back with help of a chair. We also stayed on a very hot weekend and the house has no AC or fans which would have made the temperature more bearable. Otherwise this is a lively place to stay for 4 - 6 people.

Wonderful clean and fresh apartment in the perfect location. The parking was an added bonus. Loved our stay here- highly recommend!

Third time staying in this perfect little town house.Everything again was spotlessly clean and excellent facilities for self catering. Nice quiet location with easy parking. Easy check in and great communication from owner. Short walk into Amboise where there are plenty of shops and restaurants.

Not a complaint but as someone said before above shower not working this time so bathroom gets quite wet.

Large space, three rooms and good kitchen with all necessary equipment. Good Wi-Fi. Located very near a main historical places in Amboise. Good value for money.

great location and facilities, quirky and a bit different from your run of the mill hotels

if I had to fault anything it is that there is a dishwasher but no dishwasher powder/tablets to use. For a 2 night stay you don’t want to have to buy a whole container of dishwasher detergent.

Great location to the Chateaux Amboise and the area around it.

Bed in small bedroom uncomfortable and dipped. No chair or mirror in large bedroom.

Superb location, only 5 minutes from central Amboise. The property was very clean with comfortable beds, a modern, well equipped kitchen and bathroom and an excellent shower.

The blinds in the living room were a bit worn out but we managed to close them at night. This was necessary as the property is next to the road.

Great location, just a short walk to the centre of Amboise, the chateau, and a boulangerie. Collecting the key was easy, with excellent instructions, including photos. The apartment was really nice and clean: kitchen had all the necessary equipment, including a dishwasher, beds were comfy, lounge was spacious, light and airy, and bathroom had a very good shower. It was excellent to have a carpark right there. We were really appreciative that the owners phoned us to tell us we left a wallet behind, and then gave us instructions on where to collect it. I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again!

We were there when the temperatures were extremely hot (35-38C) and there is no air conditioning, however, opening the windows cooled the place down nicely. We had no trouble sleeping either. I was worried about this but it ended up not being a problem at all. The only issue was the blinds in the lounge/kitchen were prone to falling down. Certainly nothing to get upset about.

There was a boulangerie nearby. There were many appliances to use in the kitchen.

It was very clean and convenient. Just a walking distance from all monuments. Just like being at home.

Best attribute is the close proximity to the old town of Amboise and the castle. Friendly, helpful host and a squeaky clean apartment with comfortable beds and a very well-equipped kitchen - perfect stay should one need a base from which to visit the castles of the Loire in the region of Amboise. Parking on-site, right outside the door was a bonus. Many great restaurants in the street bordering Chateau Royal.

Sound of the traffic at night, but nothing that a set of earplugs won't solve. We had to call the host as the message about the key didn't come via the Booking.com messaging in time for our arrival. But, as soon as we had the code, it was really simple. The instructions for the wifi password were communicated via the Booking.com app messaging as well, which couldn't be accessed without wifi :)

WOW! What a super place to stay in Amboise. Its the best accommodation we have ever stayed in in France on our yearly road trips. The house is beautifully designed with great facilities. Lovely and warm on our arrival and spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed and great shower. Owners very attentive answering questions very quickly and easy to check in. Amboise is a lovely town to explore with many restaurants and cafes and shops. We will be back again!

Nothing not to like. It’s perfect. Just to say that most places shut on a Sunday though. We knew this but new travellers to the area might not.

Clean, Spacious, comfortable and warm.

It was all really high standard and no complaints!
