The location of this villa is fantastic given the views of the ocean it offers and the beautiful church bell tower in the backdrop. It is a very large villa with a lot of living space. The two large full bathrooms are great and the bedrooms very comfortable. The whirlpool tub is an added bonus on those hot days when enjoying the large terrace. Overall, I would recommend it but beware of the 75 steps to reach the front door every time you go in or out. Also take note of the negatives below. Hopefully this will be corrected for the next guests.

Unfortunately, the villa lacks a lot of love and attention to detail. The terrace was not cleaned, there were leftover old burnt-out candles and cigarette buts inside the little nooks of the exterior wall. Inside, there were a lot of items in the cupboards here and there left over from previous guests. The dishes were dirty, we had to wash them before using anything. The dishwasher had a horrible smell of mold. It took us 6 washes of vinegar and baking soda to get rid of it. There were no kitchen cloths, our host came to give us some that were in a locked closet. They smelled so bad, we had to wash them before using them. Thankfully there was a washing machine. There was not one single waste basket inside the villa, we had to improvise with bags. The two lounge chairs on the terrace were completely destroyed and unusable. Again, thankfully, our host brought us two other ones right away. Just wondering why they were left there in the first place... An outdoor BBQ would be a nice addition.

Sambad was very friendly, stunning views, loved the airconditioning, spacious, well equipped kitchen, nice decor, comfortable beds and linen, smart tv, good wifi. Enjoyed the outdoor space and whirlpool very much!

Oven was faulty and tripped the electricity, we bought food and then could not make it in the oven. A lot of gas came out of it when we first tried to use it, bit scary. Host said he is going to buy a new oven, though. Shower upstairs a bit clogged, downstairs shower’s water a bit messy because the glass is too small.
