The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. The view was beautiful, except when the sun was shining through the room got extremely hot. They need curtains.

The kitchen cabinets was shabby. The bathroom was nice, but it could use some work. The water heater is in there and it’s not covered. Also, there were too many bugs. I killed them and they kept coming back every day. The windows & doors were not opened.

Even though Vacasa stuff was very helpful, helping us to check in and answering questions. But the property itself was in a terrible condition. The have a few dehumidifiers around the house but that doesn’t help a terrible funky smell around the place , it feels as the whole place was infested with mold. You cannot breathe their property. I don’t think it’s safe to offer this house to the guests. Moreover the few plugs around the house falling out of the walls. When we charged our phones had to literally insert the plug back into the wall. The shower curtain is all ripped too, but you know , it feels as a minor problem compared to everything else. Just wanted to share our disappointing experience staying at Marsh Walk property

Location.

Let me begin with the first impression upon arrival at designated time 4:00 pm cleaning people where there until four-thirty. Sitting in our vehicle noted large hole in screen door size of a soccer ball and overgrown weeds. Once inside the continuous of outside became our reality. The kitchen cabinets doors were ajar and could not be closed. In the living room corner of rug was curled up causing one of us to slip and skin her knee we then placed a ceramic elephant to hold it down so no one else would have an injury. The first bedroom when attempting to close the door came of the hinges. Also in that same room when unplugging the phone charger the whole electrical box came out of the wall. The bathroom a disaster the faucet handle came completely in your hand at the sink, a hot water heater was rusted and frightening, the handle to flush the toilet came totally off had to remove cover off toilet box using a hanger to flush toilet, the tub and shower surround were in terrible condition and the tub was slippery with no mat available to prevent slipping no grab bar attached such a liability if someone fell we had to be very careful. The kingsize bed was by far the most uncomfortable it was not supported by crossbars beneath it so it moved and creaked and to make matters worst had a 6” foam mattress which was very uncomfortable and so I slept on the couch which was totally more comfortable. The deck had a beautiful view not that we could sit outside the furniture was dirty, rusted. And finally while there we get a notification that the water is being terminated for non-payment which resulted in having to interrupt our stay and contact the water department to be assured that we would have water available throughout our stay. The amenities were none we had called prior to arrival to see if an iron was available and hairdryer which we were told were only to arrive and neither were there so management company was called and never provided either.
