We had a big family room, which was perfect for our purposes, in a tastefully renovated historic building. The location is excellent to explore the city centre and the surroundings of Eisenach, and not very far from the train station either (can be reached by bus or on foot).

We had a wonderful stay here recently and honestly wish we could have stayed longer! On-site parking was a breeze and our host was kind enough to accommodate a late check-in. As we were travelling with our children (1 and 4), we were pleasantly surprised to be given the very clean, comfortable and spacious family room. It was located at the top of the flight of stairs which, though steep, were quite easy to navigate even with two small children. The room was quiet and featured a dining area, a fridge and a bunk bed (which was obviously a huge hit with the kids). We would easily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

Perhaps we've got one of the best rooms, but it pleasantly surprised us: spacious enough, clean, quiet, with a refrigerator, tea/coffe accessories and a dining area. The hotel is located practically in the center, has its own pretty patio and a restaurant in the adjacent building. No TV, but we don't need it.

For us this wasn't a problem, but it should take into consideration that a rather steep staircase leads to the upper floors. We were here in the winter, but quite possible that in warm seasons the courtyard can be noisy (specific of the restaurant).

Excellent and not expensive pub -restaurant open even on Sunday night.

The staff is excellent, friendly open and professional. The restaurant is very good and the location is perfect. There is a good attention to sanitary protocols.

At 77 Euro per nigh, one may expect a certain confort like an elevator (especially with a baby and a room on the third floor), a television set, a bottle of water in the room. This feels very much like a hostel, and it is very great as a hostel. But if the rooms are sold as hotel rooms at this price the amenities need to be adjusted. This is not a reflexion on the room quality but on the value for money. Additionally, there was no breakfast available on the premisses. This lack of service and the poor amenities make the room at a below 60 euro bench price, to apply yield management you need a comparable product.

Very nice, cozy, simple arrangement for tourists visiting Eisenach, climbing up the Wartburg castle. Nice, helpful staff, lovely restaurant as a part of the settings. Clean, quiet.. Great value for the price. Parking available.

There is nothing to comment on. Everything was fine.

The attention to detail makes this property with its charming restaurant is special place. It is not grand but simple honest and warmly welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful and the chef excellent. From here it is a stiff but beautiful walk up to the Wartburg Castle which was definitely worth the visit. We’ll be back.
