Location is key...right in the middle of the rice fields...YES...Staff super friendly, helpful, facilities are well maintained, transportation service to pickup point 5*, breakfast always on spot. A Room with space, a big bathroom and a balcony with a fantastic view for the cherry on top (unfortunately forgot to take pictures of this)...I don't like to repeat places, but this one will probably be on my mind for the next trip to Ubud. A bit more light on the stairs that go to the suites on the first floor. At night it can get a bit too dark... "and going up with kids can be dangerous".

The place is nestled among quite paddy fields away from Ubud hustle but still close to the centre. The location itself gives your serene peace although the first time driving towards the hotel drop off point may make you anxious, just give it time. The bungalow itself was perfect (the room was already cooled with air con even before our check in) with outdoor shower. The outdoor bathroom was fantastic and well maintained. Keep in mind that you are in a live paddy field which means you might see small lizards and wasp in the bathroom area but never bothered us in anyway. The bed was comfy and air con did its job. Their breakfast was good with quite a bit of options. Not a buffet but will fill you in comfortably. Now to the best part of our stay, STAFF and SERVICE. One of the best set of staff I have ever seen. They were very considerate, quick to communicate, quick to address any issues, you rely on a buggy to travel between the resort and the drop off point but there were no delays with the buggy. The staff remembered our names, itineraries, checked with us for breakfast when we had to leave very early for a trip. They surprised us with a cake for our anniversary. The massage was excellent at the spa and again the staff were terrific. We would definitely be back.

The external machines of the air conditioning devices are very noise. They overwhelmed the silence and quietness of the rice fields.

The overall staff is super friendly. Excellent. In a day they know your name. They are willing to do everything for you.

We had an appointment for the stone chamber. All of a sudden, we were asked to start half an hour early, so we were not really relaxed when we started. After a complaint about it, for free we could do it over the next day. That was really good service. Unfortunately it was very noisy outside because of preparations for the dance. So again this time we could not relax and experience the healing effects from the stones.

Fruit bij aankomst Zeer Vriendelijk personeel, ze helpen bij alles. Voor hen een 10! Werkelijk een Prachtige tuin ook een 10 waard met nog een rustige tuin achterin met een warm klein zwembad. Leuk restaurant. Rustig gelegen maar in de nacht wel veel geluid afkomstig van krekels etc. Niet erg. Theetijd om 16:00 met heerlijke cake gratis. Scooter huur voor 6 euro bij het hotel per dag. Dus netjes. Wij hadden een houten huisje daardoor konden we heerlijk zitten op de veranda. De prijzen in het restaurant ivm diner etc zijn net zo duur als in bv Ubud zelf ongeveer. De Nasi Goreng is echt heerlijk. Een heerlijk verblijf. Matras is redelijk stevig zoals de meeste matrassen in Azië. De airconditioning was prima.

Houten huisje, schattig om te zien maar donker, krakende deur naar de badkamer en krakende vloer. Ook vind je af en toe een tor in je kamer. Ik vond dat niet erg maar weet dat. Had niets te maken met schoonmaken want het huisje heeft wat kieren hier en daar. ( er zijn ook kamers in de 2 hoofdgebouwen en niet verkeerd zo te zien) Ik vind 85 euro per nacht in januari in het laag seizoen nog best veel geld voor Bali begrippen. Deze prijs is denk ik voornamelijk omdat er mega veel personeel rond loopt, fitness, yogales, meditatie ruimte etc. Los van dit resort. Op de 4e dag in Bali kreeg ik pas last van muggen. Echter het jeukt niet zo erg als in NL. Komen pas als het echt donker wordt en zo af en toe is 1. Dat is trouwens overal in Ubud een beetje. Maar we hadden er weinig last van. Ubud centrum is verschrikkelijk druk en lawaaierig geworden en vind ik niet meer leuk. Zo buiten het centrum in dit resort is dan de beste keuze. De overheid in Bali zou elektrische scooters moeten verplichten…dan geen luchtvervuiling en rust in de straten.

We had breakfast boxes two days. The second day was a little better than the first. The vegetarian sandwich was far better the second time. The private pool was fabulous.

Food was bland all spice was removed unless we requested it.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk. De omgeving is prachtig.

Het enige wat minder was dan verwacht, was de gym.

De ligging en opzet van de accommodatie. Middenin de rijstvelden. Erg rustig en daardoor uniek in zijn soort. Ook de vriendelijkheid van het personeel een dikke 10! Ontbijt ook meer dan in orde.

De gym is aan onderhoud toe. Daarnaast waren de bedjes bij het zwembad niet ideaal.

The location is incredible ! We hope they keep the narrow path and never let cars down there as it’s so peaceful away from the traffic!

The accommodation is in a nice and quiet location. The villa is nice and clean and the staff is friendly and respond very fast. The view from the villa is amazing as on a good day you could see the mountains from the bathtub. The breakfast and food served by the onsite restaurant is nice as well with a good variety. Overall a comfortable stay.

As the location is in the paddy fields, there tend to be more insects so bring a good repellent!

Le personnel est vraiment très sympa et vraiment serviable. Ils sont toujours disponibles pour nous aider. Le lieu est vraiment sublime et la décoration vraiment raffinée. La nourriture était plutôt bonne même si je m’attendais à quelque chose de meilleur au vue des commentaires sur le site Booking.

Le lieu est vraiment difficile d’accès si vous n’êtes pas en scooter. Mes chauffeurs de taxi ont eu beaucoup de difficulté à retrouver la drop zone de l’hôtel (qui vous emmène ensuite en taxi à l’hôtel).

The design of room is nice, beautiful balcony with paintings. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The room needs maintenance. Everything is a bit "tired", and it could be okey but not for this money value. The pool area was dirty with dust. This was the first hotel im my life where they gave me a bill for the ice bucket.

The resort is amazing! I liked everything but specially the quite, pool and the room. The room was large, comfortable and well decorated. There are two pools and a beautiful surroundings. Massage, restaurant and yoga classes were a good addition to our stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Our room was behind the restaurant so we could hear all the noise as blender and chairs at 6:00am. But the staff was very nice moving us to another room. The location is a little bit far from the Ubud centre. A car cannot access the resort, so we needed to take a buggy to a drop off point and a cab from there. The resort offers shuttle three times per day what is very helpful. However, the rice field and nature surrounding the place are beautiful and it worth staying there.

The hotel is nice enough if you don’t plan on ever leaving the resort, the pool is ok could be colder.

Now for the problems, the main issue which annoyed us is the resort is down some tiny road where cars cannot drop you off, taxis would bring us back late and not be able to find the way or get lost and circle the area wasting time, there’s a drop point here you have to wait in the dark most nights for a golf cart to collect you, which is usually a 15/20 min wait time from messaging them on WhatsApp. The other problems we found was they lacked basic items like bottled water and ice, when we asked for them we was told they didn’t have any and send out for some and the ice for a smoothie wasn’t available had to send out for it. The restaurant food was always served cold or long wait time, for the price I would have expected better service, in the two weeks we were in Bali we had much better stays for a lot less price.

The food, the staff and the facilities were absolutely amazing. This place has you covered if you want to relax and enjoy Ubud. In the middle of the ricefileds you can enjoy the rest, while wuickly being able to visit ubud town with the motorbike that you can rent at Arya as well.

Everything was awesome. The only thing I can say is that the gym can have some more equipment and cups or water, as they do offer water.

部屋の壁が薄すぎる。隣の部屋のあらゆる音が丸聞こえ。全く落ち着かない。白人宿泊者の質が低すぎる。アジア人は静寂を求め、欧米人は騒ぎに来ているようだ。近所の田んぼの野焼きが連日行われており、数時間大量の煙に覆われます。この煙で気管支をやられてしまい体調を崩してしまいました。

Short of staff at the restaurant in the evening and having a strict cut off timing at dinner. Hotel is very inside and can only be reached using hotel carts. Can feel a bit too secluded.

The hotel is not at all central and in order to get a taxi to take you to the center of Ubud, you need to request from the reception a baggie to take you to the "drop off" area where the taxi will pick you up. This can be a bit of an issue, especially when it is raining, or when you need to move fast from the hotel to the center. From the reception to the drop-off area it takes about 3 minutes, but still you need to plan ahead and when you return at night you definitely need to plan ahead. The hotel gives you a WhatsApp number and you can request your pick up 24/7 which is really nice. From the drop off area to the center it takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. In general if you are looking for a hotel where you can just get out and visit the shops, pubs etc you will be better off by staying in the center. You will save a lot of time and you also save some money from taxis, about 7-10 euro per drive (from the center to the hotel and vice versa). On the other hand the hotel, although basic with thin wooden walls for their rooms, is a sustainable hotel in the bio category and in the hotel yards you can see small rice fields and fruit trees. It is quite cozy and surely not the type of hotel most people are used to.

The breakfast was basic but ok and adequate for starting the day. Maybe small improvements will bring the whole level up, but personally I don't find this a big issue. Breakfast starts at 08:00 am and this can be a bit of an issue, especially if you need to leave for your excursion or the airport earlier.

Fantastic ambience, extremely courteous staff and prompt service, whether it was arranging taxis to Ubud or getting bikes for rent or arranging vegetarian options for us

The approach road is very tiny so there’s a waiting period at the drop zone every time you have to get back into the property. It’s a minor grievance honestly, but maybe they can make the waiting area at the drop zone a closed space, it can get scary in the dark
