It was the smallest shower I have ever seen

Clean, pleasant rooms, friendly staff, parking, nice breakfast spot.

No elevator

Not much. The room was a good size, but the blind was very difficult to raise. Parking was excellent. The bathroom small, the shower cubicle so small that I couldn’t bend down in it, the decoration was not well finished, and the door self locked on the second evening so I had to get help from other residents to open it. The manger said I should have phoned him, but I understood he was not to be disturbed after 9pm and this was 10pm. He did not seem to appreciate that if I had been inside the bathroom I could have been there until morning as there was no means of contacting anyone!

Not being told what was on offer for breakfast - it was spread around the room. I had to ask for milk for my cereal both days - there was none in the dining room; the bowl of fruit was old and the bananas were bruised. It seemed I could only have one hot drink at breakfast and the manager alone got that.

The convenient location and well presented, comfortable en suite room with a double bed (not 2 singles pushed together). Adequate on site parking and pet friendly. Free Wifi. Easy access.

Some very early morning noise ( the downside when requesting a ground floor room )
