Após ter enviado e-mail a informar da nossa chegada tardia (21:45) e questionar acerca da possibilidade de jantar no alojamento, fui informada que a essa hora já não seria possível jantar mas que poderíamos pedir refeições mais simples como hambúrgueres da carta de snackbar. Após uma viagem atribulada em que nos perdemos (difícil acesso, sem luz, com ponto de GPS fornecido que não coincide com a entrada), chegamos pelas 22:15 e já não pudemos jantar como combinado pois a cozinha já estaria fechada. Nas redondezas não existia nada que pudéssemos ir. Jantamos uma tosta mista. o check-in, apesar de o alojamento se encontrar praticamente vazio, teve de ser feito às 11h. Não será uma experiência a repetir.

It was a little more cold inside of camping house than outside at night time. Reception close so we couldn’t ask for blankets. It can be a little be noisy due to people talking and in the morning due to the radio of the neighbourhood

This venue is a little different and off the beaten track. Expect a different from normal experience. Well located for the Sky Bridge.

The place is located as per the name in the nature between the mountains. Very quite and peaceful. There is nothing around in terms of hotel or bar within 10KM radius. But over all it was very pleasant place to take break from hustle and bustle of the city life.

No bar or restaurant in close proximity.

For us the location was good because we planned to visit Paiva Walkways. Otherwise the location is on the countryside and you should own a car to get there. Really nice and calm environment. Only few rooms so you can enjoy silence. Pool was small but very appreciated after the hike. Breakfast was really nice. Accommodation aims to be environmentally friendly and it seems that it really is. They had Rituals toiletries. That was nice.

The pool is tiny, don't expect to do laps or have a relaxing time when other guests are there. It is VERY remote.

Very nice location in nature, cosy tents with comfortable beds and heating (March). Dinner was served personally (way too much for 2 persons but very tasty). Very good stay for low price!

Not so much to do in the region (but good for peaceful resting in nature). Restaurant was quite cold (heating was activated too late).

Great location. Beautiful and relaxing. The room was spacious with refined, albeit, light decoration. The breakfast was plenty. A very good experience and good value for money.

It is located in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. Everything feels really quiet perfect to relax. The comfort is amazing and sustainability is something they have in mind, which is extremely important.

Beautiful place! If you are looking for a quite, unusual place in the middle of nowhere Cimo da Vinha is perfect. I booked a tent which is not big, there is only the essential; the shared bathroom was very clean. The staff is great and helpful. They don't have a restaurant on site, so you can go to the town, which is about 20 minutes from the hotel or you can order food from a restaurant they work with and they will deliver it at the hotel. We chose the second option and don't regret it: food was delicious and plentiful and we could enjoy the place. Highly reccomended!

The tents should be a little bigger, just to have the space to open the bags and also the shared bathroom should be bigger: if the hotel had been fully booked it would have been a problem.

Gorgeous surrounding & place. Great service.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation. The place is very remote out in nature, away from traffic. We had a hire car, which I would recommend if you want to explore and eat in neighboring villages. There are the Acrouca geosites and hikes nearby- you can find a map in reception, which were amazing and boasted many different terrains. The staff were extremely helpful and would help with recommendations, they even organized and picked up a cake for me for my partner's birthday, which was great! The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. We had some problems being vegetarian, but the staff helped as much they could.

It can get busier on the weekends with local tourists. It's tricky to get vegetarian food, as Portugual isn't big on veggie food - happy cow app is useful and quite accurate, as well as getting things at the local supermarkets in Castelo de Paiva.

Lovely location and wonderful staff. The perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the views.
