A peaceful location in the countryside. Very friendly and helpful host who gave us suggestions of what to see and where to eat in the area. Plenty of extras in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. Very comfortable lounge area. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Large bathroom with hot, powerful shower.

As the accommodation was attached to the main house we could hear some noise of movement and speech but it wasn't intrusive. The wardrobes had a lot of linen and other items stored in them but there was space for our clothing. There were no shelves only hanging space.

very cosy apartment . very quite area. peaceful. amazing to relax, rest and have a good sleep. comfy beds. nice hot shower . owners so kind and always with a smile and very helpful. They left some eggs , bacon , orange juice , coffee pods , some cereals etc very thoughtful of them . little touches that make all the difference! we didn’t want to leave and if at any stage we will be around that area we will definitely stay again. we recommend this place . Thank you Pat and Phill for amazing stay and for make us feel home .

We were met by Phil who is a scream. She is very generous, was on hand to show us everything & answer any questions and she's just a lovely woman all round. The unit is huge – it's like having your own house! It has a small conservatory plus a large table in the kitchen, a lovely comfortable sitting room, huge bathroom & comfy bedroom. The wi-fi is great and the heatig, hot water & shower really efficient. The cupboards are full of stuff to eat - you could arrive with nothing and eat for days from them. Milk, Orange juice, coffee pods, tea bags, bread, bacon & egg pastries in the freezer along with some wedges and veggies. We made use of the washing machine & dryer in the separate utility room. There are even a couple of pairs of thongs/flip-flops & slippers. This was our first time using an air dryer & it was great! The unit is an easy distance to charming Kilkeny & make sure you visit the nearby amazing Kells Priory – always open & just down the road.

Our stay could not have been better - a few more days there would have been good!
