Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was comfortable, outside shower and toilet was nice. Food was delicious. Location was good.

Since you are surrounded by nature bring your earplugs, but thankfully no loud music or noise around.

Preise im Restaurant sind um einiges teurer als in den umliegenden Restaurants wie im Nautilus, trotz ähnlicher Gerichte und vergleichbares Niveau. Wenn die Preise ähnlich ausgefallen wären, hätten wir gerne mehr im Hotel gegessen.

L'hotel est situé sur une ile magnifique sans voitures ni scooters et vous aurez l'impression de jouer les Robinson modernes. Les parties communes sont splendides, la piscine donne directement sur la plage et le restaurant sert une cuisine internationale raffinée (c'est le plus cher des restaurants sur l'ile cependant). Les bungalows sont grands et confortables, très bien équipés.

Si vous avez le sommeil léger munissez-vous de bouchons d'oreilles, les coqs sont nombreux tout autour de l'hotel et chantent dès 4 heures du matin sans discontinuer ! Le matériel pour les sports nautiques était vieux et en très mauvais état, difficile de trouver des rames utilisables pour aller faire un tour de kayak par exemple. Pas de gaufres au petit-déjeuner car le gaufrier était cassé. Nous n'avons certainement pas eu de chance mais le dessus du canapé de notre chambre était taché de même que la moustiquaire et l'un des murs de la salle de bain aurait eu besoin d'être repeint.

Location amazing, super nice staff, no wifi in the apartment but only in the restaurant (yes, when you are in a paradise like Gili Asahan having no wifi is a Plus)

The only annoying thing is the presence of a noisy electricity generator, which depending on where your apt is located can be bothersome at night. I must highlight, however, that staff was super helpful when we complained about that, and offered us another apt located more far away from the generator.

Superb place with nice n friendly people, good food and beautiful beach. We stayed here for 10 nights and had an amazing stay. Rooms are nice and comfortable, pool is amazing and food is just too good, best one on the island. The kitchen staff even made special arrangements to show and teach us some recipes. The resort is very beautiful and well maintained. Massage is good and the set up is very nice & relaxing, right on the beach. We had to go for diving early morning and the staff made sure to take care of the kids. Kids were sad to leave the place. We made some good friends and by the end of the stay it was like leaving home. Many many thanks to Firman, Amir and every member of the staff for making our stay so special.

Everything! The hotel is located on Gili Asahan small island near the village. It blends very well in the vegetation and offers great access to the beach (you can use paddle, kayak or masks for snorkeling for free) and its pool overlooks the beach. The restaurant is beautiful, you can choose between seating under the bamboo construction or on the beach and the food is the best we have had during our 3 weeks trip. They offer quite a lot of alternatives so that we did not feel the need to go elsewhere even if we stayed for 5 nights. Our room was great, it was simple but had everything we need. Bed was very comfortable, they provided baby cot for free, bathroom was great. Overall we had an amazing stay thanks to the hotel but more so thanks to the people that work there. They are all very professional but very nice at the same time. They welcomed us with your baby and made us feel nearly at home. Even our son did not want to go. Final recommendation, go for massages! They are super well done and you can have them on the beach.

The resort is lovely. Well designed with lovely rooms. The breakfast and food in the restaurant is really good and tasty. The pool area is nice and clean and has a lovely outlook. We have been to Gili Asahan twice before and loved it each time and so we were really happy to return and see little has changed. Also, excellent snorkelling from the shore at numerous points around the island. We saw so many types of fish, as well as sea snakes, sea slugs and also a turtle. Finally, the resort offers free kayaks, SUPs and snorkels.

The only slight gripes would be for them to have more free snorkels which are useable. As many are broken, so we had to find somewhere to hire them. Also, the price in the restaurant is overpriced when compared to the restaurant at Eco-resort. But nothing that would stop us returning.

Beautiful place on a beautiful tiny island. Excellent food, fantastic staff, beautiful location. The service is impeccable and very friendly. The romantic dinner by the beach was dream-like. I am writing it again, the restaurant is real good!

The beach in front of the resort is beautiful but not great as it's like the tiny harbour for the small fisherman boats, nice for scenery but less for swimming. Breakfast could include more dishes and/or a buffet, but it is very good. The roosters can wake you up very early. The manager has a very weird way of approaching clients, but I think it is just his way.

We felt like home. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful.

We had an absolutely perfect holiday at Amahelia Resort. All staff are exceptionally welcoming, lovely, highly professional and always make sure that you are having a perfect time. All the food, smoothies and cocktails were delicious and we spent a whole week at Amahelia Resort, so we sampled almost everything. The Naga restaurant has a big menu with a great selection of a variety of Asian dishes (highly recommend the two banana leaf dishes!) as well as western dishes. I am gluten intolerant and also a pescatarian and they had so many choices even for me, that I ate something different every day. The free a la carte breakfast is fantastic as well, with e.g. amazing eggs benedict, fresh fruit bowls, pancakes and Nasi Goreng, etc. We loved the free fresh pawpaw and dragon fruit juices and Lombok coffee for breakfast. They also provide free unlimited drinking water. The resort is beautiful and well maintained with beautiful tropical plants including pawpaw trees, dragon fruit cacti and coconut palm trees, which we got to enjoy fresh young coconut from. Our Villa was beautiful, clean, in perfect condition exactly as in the pictures and the bed was very comfy. They have plenty of free snorkel gear, water shoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards, which is perfect to explore Gili Asahan as well as the completely inhabited Gili Goleng. The water is crystal clear and bright blue turquoise and beautiful to swim and snorkel. Gili Asahan is a beautiful island and the perfect getaway for a quiet and relaxing holiday in paradise. There are only three other resorts on the island and a small village, only very few tourists and no cars at all. We were not bothered by the roosters in the morning, as they're just small ones and not actually that loud. Firman is super helpful and will give you all the info you need to get to this remote island without any stress. Many thanks to Firman, Amir, Hendra, Habibi and Tony for making every minute of our holidays absolutely perfect!

This was my second time at Gilli Asahan which sums up my love of this place. The staff are outstanding! The facilities excellent; fantastic pool, loungers and beach area. Excellent breakfasts with a lunch and dinner menu which offers many options. Amir makes outstanding cocktails and their coffee is fabulous. There are other dining options on this small island in neighbouring resorts. There is also an excellent snorkelling reef about a 10 minute walk from the resort, or do as we did and use one of their kayaks to get there. There is also a little shop at the village nest door for snacks if you are travelling with children.

The food was great! The staff was awesome, the beach was great. My family enjoyed hunting for seashells. The locals are super friendly and even met other friendly tourists. Have to say we love the atmosphere of the island and hotel. Also have to mention we enjoyed the AC in the room!

There was a lot of plastic that float to the beach and the staffs cleans it everyday but until we humans stop using plastics or at least stop throwing them into rivers and oceans. It will always be an issue.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff - Hasta in particular is someone you will not easily forget. All spacious and newly furnished rooms. Great variety on the menu and option to have breakfast, lunch ir dinner on the beach. Offers many possibilities to do diving and is perfect for a small child.

Location is perfect, it is where sea is very calm, only sand, so very baby friendly! Every time you came back to resort staff is welcoming you “Welcome home”. It is only place with pool (salty pool) on a island. Snorcheling gear, kayak a paddle boards is possible to borrow any time for free.

We didn’t like that after shower all bathroom including toilet was wet and slippery.

This hotel is our highlight on our journey through Lombok and Bali. It is a beautiful place on a marvelous island. You have a pool, white sand beaches with beautiful shells, snorkeling spots and hiking trails all close by. You can take kayaks, SUPs and snorkeling gear for free whenever you like. The food and service excellent. But most importantly: The people who work there don’t treat you like guests, they treat you like family. We miss them already and are hoping to be back one day.

if you are concerned with a quiet beach, maybe it's not too quiet here, there are many boats that pull over because its close to the local residents' villages.

Amahelia Luxury Resort is a gem if you like a quite and very friendly and relaxing place in an extraordinary beautiful environment. All structures are low key, with a nice design and well crafted touch. You have the nature just around you and it is spectacular, super snorkelling and easy access to small beaches. Using one of the kayaks will get you to some super beaches and great reefs for amazing snorkelling experiences. Did I mention the food?

Feeling of being on a desert island, with a serene and very welcoming environment for our family. A caring team during our stay. A beautiful pool overlooking the beach. Excellent and fresh breakfast.

There was work in the neighboring resort, the noise of which disturbed us several times during the stay, fortunately, never too early or too late in the day

the location is the best of all Gili Asahan resorts by far. Beautiful beaches and sunset dinner on the beach was included. Saltwater pool was huge bonus as well and the very well equipped villas offered loads of privacy. Very comfortable king bed and a small fridge and the bathroom had a very nice lay out with a rain shower.

best spot on the island and hotel amenities, incredible staff, comfy bed, delicious food and good WiFi (for an island) Firman and his team are exceptional. they go above and beyond to make your stay magical. They even provided us table and chairs on the beach to watch sunset which was glorious, serving our dinner. free kayaking and snorkels provided. firman organised a private boat snorkel tour and we saw some of the best coral off Gili Rengit and Gili Layer.

Definitely will be back whenever i need to relax. We also did canoing ajd snorkling arou the island, which is fun and its free. The food is nice as well.
