Paid extra for a balcony and did not receive it. Air conditioner was too loud to sleep with on.

The management, staff - rude , unprofessional and overly controlling

The hotel is a unique and interesting property. It is worth the price we paid. But that having been said do not expect too much from the hotel or staff. We did not get the rooms we reserved. The rooms we did get were fine and we were happy. The rooms are comfortable, the beds delightful, and the pillows wonderful. Parking is a problem in the afternoons. Restaurants are sparse within a 5 minute walk. We did find the mall just a block and a half away with great restaurants and shopping. We went to a local restaurant Mozzafiato, only 4 minutes away, for a birthday dinner and the experience was great. The cost was exceptional. A bottle of wine, two entrees, appetizer, and desert for under $50 USD. For breakfast we went to the yolk and white, fabulous. These need to be added to the suggestions on the wall. Also, PF Chang, Starbucks, Don Carbon and McDonalds in the mall. We enjoyed the common areas so we could talk with friends without having to stay in our rooms.

The toilet seats in two of the 4 rooms broke. The TV did not work in our room. No problem as we don't watch TV anyway. The NOISE from the rain awakened us every night. Part of the industrial charm but it was very loud on what sounded like a tin roof. Coffee was not available early and the amount of coffee was inadequate for the number of guests in the hotel. The coffee was available after 8:30. And the parking in the afternoon was a problem. In the evening not so much.
