Apartment was well equipped. Beer/wine and milk in the fridge on arrival was a very nice touch! Excellent central location. I was travelling for work so didn't do much exploring but there were pubs, shops etc in close walking distance. Although there's no designated parking I didn't struggle to find a free parking spot on the street after 5:30pm any night.

Firstly, the owner Leigh, is great. Very informative and easy to talk to. Excellent communication throughout. The property is very unique in its decor, furnishings and layout. The property is self contained, and everything is provided to meet one’s immediate and some ongoing needs. There’s also an extra special welcome surprise of wine and beer chilling in the fridge on arrival…..very much appreciated after a long journey. Crisp white linen on a very comfy bed, and fluffy white towels provided. The property is right in the centre of town, with easy access to (sensibly priced) public parking. Everything one could want is within easy walking distance, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs etc. In short, this accommodation is a little gem, great fun, comfortable, well equipped and totally unique. We loved it.

The property has 2 stairways. However, we knew this when we booked so was not a problem and it's not like they could have done anything about it, lol. It was ok for us.

Nice little flat in the centre of town. The flat has a quaint olde worlde feel about it, but with all mod cons such as modern TV's in the lounge and bedroom; microwave, hob and oven in the kitchen plus all kitchen utensils you're likely to need. General cleanliness was great, the shower was excellent, bed very comfortable, and parking very convenient. All in all we had a great stay and I'd recommend Old Town View if you're visiting the local area.

The only problem we had was locating the door to the property on arrival, which wasn't quite clear, but was found by exploring the alleyway at the rear of the premises.

It was a lovely quirky flat in a perfect central position. Everything u need for self catering. We will definitely stay again. Tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishing and lighting.

The stairs are steep to the bedroom, & only a small window to let in air on a hot night - pub noise at night & market traffic early, but we expected this, due to location.

Such a beautifully decorated flat, with wonderful character and right in the middle of town. Everything was clean and well kept and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook big or small meals. The host arrived promptly when calling upon arrival, handing over the keys and showing us around. Very helpful and only a phone call away should we need him throughout our stay.

Understandably, being an older building and in the centre of town with many restaurants and pubs around, it was a little noisy during Saturday evening/night. The flat has two very steep staircases which although fine for most may prove challenging to some. The bed is a little small for two adults.

A bijou gem. Full of character and charm. Highly recommended.

We stayed at a weekend near to Christmas time and as it’s central there was quite some noise into the small house from the street below, however nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t solve.

Luxury 5☆ Accommodation. Amazing Value The Host was friendly curtious and professional. Left wine, Beer, Milk, Bread, Tea, Coffee All complementary. So impressed we stayed for the weekend too. We asked about festival availability but was booked. You will not find better accommodation at such a bargain price

Finding the light switch at night while navigating stairs at night. Fine once you get used to the layout.

Firstly there is a car park located a two minute walk from property, Duncombe Drive, where I used the “just park app” and as I stayed a few days it was cheaper to pay for 7 days which was only £15 opposed to £6:50 per day, car park free after 6pm. I met the owner, Leigh, who was an easy going bloke, shook my hand and showed me around and had placed a pint of milk, bottle of wine and beer in the fridge and a loaf of bread. Such a lovely touch as there was tea, coffee and sugar as well as various jams etc if you arrive late. Leigh told me to contact him directly on his mobile day or night if there were any issues which was a great gesture. The apartment itself was very well equipped, kitchen had everything to prepare any kind of food. The lounge had sky tv, gas fire, table and chairs and sofa, the bed room had sky too with ample storage space where the bed and pillows were of good quality and every night I stayed I slept like a baby. The overall furniture , decor etc was very well kept and maintained and tastefully decorated and was very clean. The property is located overlooking the high street which is pedestrianised so no issues with traffic etc and was wonderful sitting each morning with a coffee at the window people watching as tho you were on your own private balcony. There were a multitude of restaurants catering for all specific personal choices, various shops inc groceries and coffee shops etc. the market in the high street too several days a week. I would definitely recommend staying here and intend to return. Thanks to Leigh and the wonderful cleaner too who often get forgotten about.
