Very comfortable bed, quirky decoration. Newly refurbished en-suite bathroom in our room. Easy self access front door entry. Well equipped kitchen & good selection of breakfast provisions for self service. Good clothes hanging & drawer space.

More control over the heating would be good especially in the bathroom where the heated towel rail was either on or off & was too hot when on. (But overall it was great to be warm & cosy)

There was a mix up over which room I should stay in - I hadn't received any info from the host about my room and they have in the past named the room in an e-mail to me. So I looked up their website for info and found a single room for the same price as I had paid on Booking.com and picked that, thinking I had done well under the circumstances. The host contacted me by text the second day to say I was in the wrong room, like it was my fault. Otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful. Hot water came out of both taps in my room; no cold water. The toilet in the main bathroom was loose on the floor mountings. A guest in another room (apparently a long-term resident) was noisy late at night playing rap music.

Unique property. Facilities were great. Rooms a little tight but lovely, clean and cosy.

I liked the quirkiness of the hotel. It was super clean and I was really happy that we were able to bring our dog as well.

The room was a little small.
