For our purposes the location was excellent. We were meeting another family and we were less than 15 minutes away from each other.

The house itself was a mixture of good and bad. The way the bedrooms/bathrooms were situated was not ideal for 6 people with 3 groups of grownups. May have worked better for a family with children. The kitchen had great appliances. The cabinets are a little bit outdated and VERY slightly dirty, but definitely OK to good. The basic cleanliness of the house was fine to good. But they did not go the extra step and just freshen up before we got there. Cobwebs galore inside. That was my main problem with the place. The outside deck was also a bit dirty. It would have been just dusty except there had been a slight rain just before so everything outside was just slightly dirty/muddy. I called about the cobwebs because that was the main sticking point and was told they were cleaned but come back in a matter of 5-6 hours. I personally knocked them down and they were not back 2 days later.... hmmmm. But the house was BY NO MEANS gross or deeply unclean. I would have been way more impressed had they taken the hour -ish that I did and just knocked the cobwebs down and freshened up inside and out. Only other issue was kitchen towels/cloths. I do not use sponges since they harbor bacteria, I had to call because I could not find a dish cloth. Was told there was 1 sponge for use instead- that personally grosses me out. Also only 2 dishtowels.
