This is a small boutique hotel in the old town. The behavior of the owners was spectacular by all means. This is a place to choose when you visit Rhodes.

The owner is kind and very helpful.

The toilette has a glass wall and it is transparent. No breakfast.

On the corner of a historic square, this property is well equipped and very comfortable. Stamos and Michael very professional, looked after transfer arrangements and the lady on the ground floor charming. Perfect location as it is away from the cruise crowds and had a number of excellent restaurants nearby.

The late night noise particularly on the Fri & Sat night. Loud music to 4/5 am. We were advised the ground floor unit is not affected. Frustrating for the accommodation owner but perhaps provide ear plugs? We would return (equipped).

We had a beautiful room away from the noisy, touristy main street. There were a few bars and nice restaurants nearby without the crowds on the crowded main street. We called the hotel from our taxi and were met by a golf cart driven by Adonis who drove us through the winding streets where no cars are allowed. At the end of our visit Michael picked us up in the golf cart and drove us to the taxi stand outside the walled city. While Chateau Anax is not a full-service hotel with a lobby and staff in attendance, we were very comfortable with coffee making equipment in the room.

We had help from Adonis and Michael in getting our bags up the winding staircase,. This was an absolute necessity.

Location of this place is the prime bonus, along with the staff. You are in the heart of Rhodes Old Town and have a wide selection of really cool and quirky bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and quite small, but a small price to pay given the location and style of the room.

The location was excellent - right in the culture and nightlife of Rhodes medieval town! Due to this location be warned, your taxi WILL NOT be able to drop you off at the door of this hotel. You will need to contact the hotel before arriving so they can pick you up in a little electric golf cart and this truly does feel super VIP! This is totally fine and the staff make this seamless but just a warning in case you are unsure of how Rhodes old town works (like myself before this trip!). This hotel being in the medieval town means you are super close to so many attractions, restaurants and bars! I would prefer to stay here rather than the coastal resorts for sure! The beach is only 15 mins walk. The room we had was on the ground floor and it was rather spacious. the shower was huge and the decor was stunning! You really do feel you are living inside a historic building! Amenities were great, we had a nespresso machine and kettle! They even gave us a delicious red wine which we couldn't get enough of! Toiletries were lovely and so were the towels and robes. The bed is super comfy and you are guaranteed a good sleep. The room was very clean too! You can request your cleans as often or as little as you like. Do be warned this is not a hotel with a reception desk, this is really more like renting an apartment. As someone who only really stays in hotels for the comfort and service this did make me nervous when I found out after arriving that there was no reception however all was perfect in the end. Whenever we needed anything, I could whatsapp the managing staff and they would bring whatever was needed. On site, there was also a lovely lady who was always there in case you needed something immediately. Mr Mihalis was always super helpful and gave us great recommendations for our trip!

Everything was perfect, perhaps would have been nice to know in advance about the transport/reception situation of this property.

Centrally located, a short walk to all parts of old town Rodos. The outdoor seating area is wonderful. Management was VERY helpful. We had a badly sprained ankle, and Michael went out of his way to accommodate our additional needs.

The nearby clubs are open until 4 am. It didn't bother us, but extremely light sleepers might be disturbed.

From the beginning the staff were incredibly helpful, accomodating and friendly. We were given tips on the best places to eat, swim, and shop. We were assisted with hiring a car and we felt looked after the entire time. We already intend to return, and cannot recommend these rooms enough.
