What can I say! Everything, and more, was to hand, the whole property fully equipped with anything which might be needed. The cottage is in a quiet location and has both a paved area and a grassy one and there are easy walks all around. A shop is a few minutes walk away as are 2 pub's., but check opening hours. The village is somewhat larger than expected and, one special point, everyone was so very friendly. If one does not want to use a car then there is an hourly bus service. The owners, Caroline and Marcus are happy to help in any way possible. Cannot be faulted. I did not want to leave! Harry (Cocker Spaniel). p.s. my human companion loved it also.

Gorgeous character full cottage with a private courtyard. We had an amazing stay in Sabden. Caroline & Marcus (and the dogs!) were super friendly and accommodating. They made us feel really welcome and the cottage was full of special touches (freshly baked cake on arrival, lots of nice toiletries, a foot spar!, goodies for your dogs and the list goes on!). The cottage is situated in a quiet corner of Sabden with loads of fantastic walks from the door and even more a short drive away. The village is a hidden gem. It was so easy to cook and live in the cottage, it was fully equipped with everything you needed. It was such a cosy place to relax in the evening. We absolutely loved it and we will be recommending this place ☺️ Thank you for our fabulous stay

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation with its own little courtyard for sitting outside. Had a piece of cake on arrival, and even an Easter card during the week. Caroline seems to get a kick out of adding those extra touches that makes her guests' stay a bit special. Lovely house, lovely people, lovely village and a great holiday.

As i was staying there to visit my family, the location was just right. Cosy, secluded and within walking distance, Seeing that the weather was not very good , very happy to walk. The property was just what i wanted.

The only item that i was able to comment on was ,as i have a replacement hip, and waiting for the second one, i felt that a grab handle would be an advantage , The lady of the property informed me that she had purchased on e on the internet. Job done, and i am sure to be appreciated by any other visitor to this fabulous property.

The cottage is conveniently situated near the centre of Sabden. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and the care that has been taken in preparing the property to welcome guests, as well as attention to detail throughout the cottage, is outstanding. The hosts were particularly welcoming and anxious to please and nothing was too much trouble in ensuring that we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

There was nothing that we could fault.
