Sydämellinen henkilökunta, upeat maisemat ja patikointi Blue Mountainin huipulle olivat majoittumisen kohokohtia. Meistä pidettiin Jay's Guesthousessa erittäin hyvää huolta! Ruoka oli todella maukasta sekä aamupalalla että illallisella. Huoneemme oli tilava ja erittäin siisti, kylpyhuoneesta erityisplussaa.

Saapumisemme piti järjestellä uusiksi, koska alkuperäinen auto (vanha pakettiauto, jossa ei ollut turvavöitä) vikaantui matkalla. Kuljetukset majoitukseen ja sieltä pois olivat kuitenkin hintavia. Olisi ollut kiva, jos juomavesi olisi sisältynyt majoituksen hintaan.

Awesome location right up in the blue mountains with great views from their terrace. Jay and his parents take great care of you and the home made food is delicious. They organise tours to the summit.

Nothing but if you do go independently get a decent 4WD.

The Guest House has wonderful views on the Blue Mountains. This is the real Jamaican experience. We visited the farm and enjoyed the fresh fruits straight from the trees. You are treated as family, food is also delicious. Highly recommended

The reception by Ms. Angela was well arranged. She is very kind, helpful and understanding. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed was big and comfortable for my taste ( I do like a firm mattress). The view from the guesthouse to Blue Mountain was just beautiful. If your goal is to hike to Blue Mountain Peak, this is the right accommodation for you.

The road to the accommodation is rough. I was offered to be picked up at a certain point and was taken to Jay's Guest house in a 4x4. Be prepared for a bumpy ride that takes about 30 minutes. This ride is charged seperately. Unfortunately, at the time I stayed at the guesthouse, they were renovating. There was a lot of noise. However, Ms. Angela made sure that this did not take too long. There is no possibility to sit outside comfortably. There is a roof terrace but at the time I was there, it was not finished (no finished floor, no comfortable furniture). Again however, Ms. Angela tried to make me as comfortable as possible at the best of her abilities.
