Beautiful location which appears to be family run and very well kept.

Issue with our booking which was for a family room where there was no family room available on check in. This was managed with great humility by the young man on the front desk and more abruptly by the 2nd staff (family) member. Between them and our need for a bed for the night, we reached an amicable agreement to use x2 separate rooms, while not ideal we enjoyed our stay and slept well.

My room was small and the hotel didn’t have any ice

The hotel was very comfortable. I travelled with my husband and young son and we all had a great time. There was enough space for all three of us and I liked the in-room amenities (microwave, fridge, etc). Will definitely stay here again.

It's part of and adjacent a beautiful restored turn of the century farm house. The view from the back portion (our room) was across a beautiful snowy field. The front view is of the Saint Lawrence river. Staff members were simply excellent.

No fan installed in bathroom. The bathroom smelled like a dirty mop. The bed could have used a new mattress.

There was nothing that I liked. I was as patient and as polite as one can be when they are seeking rightful compensation for a terrible state of the room they have PAID for. When we came to the motel at night after a long day out, we were hoping to be able to relax, But instead we had to leave the property in the middle of the night and pay last minute prices at a nearby hotel just to be able to spend the night. Trying to put the blame on the guest for seeking compensation for conditions the property has put them in just goes to show the level of customer service.

My experience at Le Marigot was a terrible disappointment. With more than 10 lady bugs in my room, some of which were flying around the lights in the room, I refused to stay the night in such unsanitary conditions. We complained and were told to turn the lights off so that the lady bugs don't bother us which was far from a satisfactory response. When we complained , they tried to offer us the master room that was hardly any different. While we were checking the master room, we advised the motel that we would likely not stay in either room and were told to put both keys in a box outside the motel and call booking.com for compensation. What followed was a month of back and forth trying to get our money back on the full duration of the reservation since we didnt even stay at the property for one night. Booking.com only returned a portion of the money although all evidence was provided and has asked me to contact the property for the remaining amount. Customer service from the property was extremely disappointing including the manager asking me to "be quiet" and listen to him after which he refused to hear me and shouted that they would call the police if I tried to call back to ask for my money that they took. Overall, a huge disappointment on soo many aspects and would never recommend. The property has responded to my first review saying that they offered Two rooms... BOTH rooms had the lady bugs ! A master suite is no more a better quality room when you have lady bugs all around ! Additionally, the property kept misinforming booking.com saying that we left without complaining and on a different occasion trying to pass off the cancellation as a "no show" . They also told me over the phone that we didnt return the keys to the rooms. How could we have not complained when we were offered the master room instead ? How is it a "no show" when payment is AT THE PROPERTY ?

Clean rooms in a quiet area. Allows for a good sleep.

Very small rooms. Barely enough room to open one or two suitcases. Room has a fridge and a microwave, but only one clothes hangar. No ventilation fan in bathroom. Seemed overpriced for what the room offers.

The space, despite being quite small, felt modern and was really clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. My stay was nice and the rooms were quiet

The room was fairly small but we were just here overnight. The room has been recently updated and is bright and clean.

The location was ok but not why we were there. Bed was comfortable and the fridge was a bons.

We drove 12 hours only to arrive to find no hot water. I went to the desk and was told to just let it run but it never got warmer than tepid. There was only one night stand, no chair at all and the light outside the room stays on all night with no option to turn off.
