Hotel Bijou was exceptionally clean and the room looked refurbished. The half board is highly recommended and the food was plentiful and authentic and very tasty. Ivo the owner could not do enough for you and he was always available to assist you with a smile with whatever you needed. The shuttle bus was available to transport you to the ski lift.

a lovely family hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful hardworking hosts! that can’t do enough for their guests. we travelled for a family skiing holiday and this was the perfect base for us. the rooms were lovely and cleaned daily. the whole family loved the food, it is definitely worth choosing the half board option. after skiing we enjoyed the comfortable rooms for a rest before meeting in the bar area to play board games with the kids which was fun. the hotel is located in the heart of Valtournenche with a public pool and sauna next door and easy walk to other bars and restaurants. it is not walking distance to the gondola but there is free parking by the hotel and the hotel has a minibus to transport guests to the slopes. there are also ski lockers at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, clean family hotel with a warm welcoming atmosphere! it was a very relaxing holiday for us! overall it was good value for money.
