The Post Code wanted to take us down a very tight road on a very steep hill just a little before the actual location. Luckily the apartment is close on either side between a bus stop and a car wash as a good landmarks to use. Having been sent the door code and very clear instructions on how to use the lock, entering the property was easy. Despite being on the main road, and adjacent to a car wash, it was very quiet and peaceful. Having the doors open and listening to the owls having a conversation at night was an additional treat. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and there was very little sound from upstairs other than when they were arriving and leaving carrying bags on the stairs. The front windows look out onto the main road but there are french doors with a barrier to the rear of the apartment that open onto a beautiful view of countryside and you aren't overlooked at all. It was a short taxi ride into Halifax and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Should we end up in this neck of the woods again I would have no hesitation in booking Woodroyd Apartments again.

amazing view! nice trail surrounded, nice area. amazing facilities, nice and clean, exactly how you’d treat your own home. Was a lovely day, made some nice food as the apparatuses are new, modern and work perfectly, then sat in front of the balcony admiring the view. smells lovely with the candles, tv in bathroom so you can wind down, would definitely come again!

Spa bath slightly small, that’s all. depends on size of person though

What an amazing appartment! Stayed in the penthouse and it did not disappoint. The views were beautiful and the decor and furniture were high quality. Bed was super comfy, had a great sleep. The appartment had everything you needed for a short or long stay and felt very homely, wish I'd of booked a longer stay. The host was easy to contact and so helpful. I contacted a few times and he was always quick to respond. Would definitely recommend a stay here and will be booking again in the near future.

There was slight noise from outside traffic, but wasn't a major deal.

Very clean, modern designed unit. Good kitchen. Within easy reach of Hebden Bridge.

Bathroom very small. No bedside table. Can't watch TV in bed. View from terrace blocked by trees, and surrounding land covered in discarded building materials, so a bit pointless. Limited car parking. Accommodation is situated right next to car wash.

Good location, modern and clean .

The apartment is modern and was very clean on our arrival. We enjoyed our overnight stay , but for £150 anticipated more. It was not the penthouse, just the basic studio. It is nice but could be excellent with just a little more work and attention to detail. The feedback is given in good nature but wonder whether the owner had ever stopped there themselves. Perhaps if they did they’ll realise those final touches needed 1. In the joining instructions received on the day NEED TO emphasise to use side gate and steps to rear lower ground floor entrance NOT front door. Thank you to adjacent car wash staff who came across and pointed this out when we could not get in. Possibly a sign at front door explaining that as well 2. Nice cooker, toaster and microwave with pans but very limited crockery. Two medium plates, a bowl, two cereal bowls, three mugs and two tumblers. Would have been good to have some bigger plates, side plates and larger dishes for pasta 3. Perhaps some more glasses even wine glasses 4. Some trays or a small table to eat off rather than eating on our knees 5. Lovely two seater reclining settee, Perhaps a coffee table or side table to put drinks and food on. We used litter bins as tables 6. Shelf at either side of bed to put drink and other items on rather than using floor. 7. Hand towels in addition to just two bath towels would have been good in bathroom. Tea towel for kitchen also would have been useful 8. Bed adequate, but mattress very soft and little support . We both kept rolling into the middle of the bed. 9. Rug in centre of room is a trip hazard as keeps folding up in middle but it’s needed to cover electricity cable that powers reclining settee and runs partly across floor before going under fitted carpet. Perhaps anti slip mat underneath it. 10. Some subdued lighting would be nice. It’s either full very bright ceiling lights or the bedside lights .. we used the latter with the cooker hood light.

There was no outside seating even though on the booking description there was. The bathroom was far too small for a bigger person. There were no tea towels to dry pots. There was only 2 plates. No side plates. There was no digital tv channels only Netflix. The apartment was too hot. Had to switch the heating off. Walk clock not working. The rug near the settee kept moving ontop of the carpet causing a trip hazard.

quite sparse on things like wine glasses , tea towels , shower gel , hand wash , draining rack for pots . brush and pan.

Good location and a very new property …

Hooks to hang costs, bedside tables and coffee table … But these are minor points and didn’t spoil our stay ….

very clean, easy access with digital keypad entry. Good furnishings and lots of space

the only issue we found with both apartments was the hot water kept running out, tsps run hot for about 30 seconds then go cold, so did one of the showers.

Could have been cleaner … rather surprised re bathroom / WC (loo seat had slight trace of ‘unmentionable’ … needless to say cleaned myself before let wife use … did not tell her … so v surprising) :-(

View was very nice watching the sun set even whilst sitting on the sofa and watching tv great location facing the forest wooded area . Clean and very modern apartment

I think some additional things in place for bugs as I did see something in the wall for pests however as evening approached lots of little flies and black ladybirds shared our apartment however wasn’t very shocking as we was facing a forest.

the view was amazing! also all the furnishings and decor within the apartment was beautiful. A special thanks to the hosts as I informed them it was for our anniversary and they gifted us a happy anniversary balloon which was a lovely touch!

Clean please

The bedding wasn't iron and I'm not sure if was clean or not it's look like someone sleep before me,not enough mugs and glasses only one wine glass,now balcony as it said very small bathroom very noisy as is grand floor apartment next to the main door with the stars above you can hear everyone walking up and down and slamming doors can't sleep. For me overcharged apartment
