Perfect location

Bed very hard plus sofa hard

Great location, and the parking was a real bonus. The property was decorated to a very high standard with all mod cons.

Nothing we didn’t like. Only a very small point, we don’t use a dishwasher (the truth being we don’t know how) 🤣 so I sponge or dish cloth would have come in handy.

Fabulous location, well appointed, clean, comfortable bedroom, great to have a car-port. Netflix a definite plus.

Sofa-bed is not particularly comfortable, made worse by no curtains or blinds on the skylights in the living room to keep out the light. No bed linen available for sofa-bed on arrival, but this was rectified very promptly following a call to Kate, which was much appreciated.

It's a functional holiday apartment, with adequate (minimal) features, not really a "cottage" - didn't really feel at home during the stay.

Salt Yard cottage was a superb place to stay. It was very clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The location was just perfect with just a short walk to the beach and High street.

Nothing, all fabulous. I preferred the massive shower in salt yard 4, but that's a personal preference.

Bathroom is tiny

The house was perfect for our stay. You notice as soon as you enter it's Very clean. A very well equipped house with everything you would need. Bed is extremely comfortable. The property is well placed for shops, pubs and the beach and harbour. There is good public transport available if you want to venture out. Whitstable is a thriving town with no Amusement arcades. The beach is mainly shingle, probably not child friendly. The harbour is a delight with bars and places to eat. The seafood is some of the best in the world, try the oysters... we will be coming back here and we do not revisit as a rule. A truly nice place, friendly people, good food

Not sure about the sofa bed, it's a perfect size unit for 2, I found the sofa uncomfortable after a while. think a proper comfortable sofa would be better.
