The place is ran by a lovely family that sincerely just wanted us to enjoy and feel comfertable. The place looks great with a nice garden and patio, felt safe, good location and a great hand made breakfast.

The warmth we were welcomed with. Nothing was too much for our hosts. They went out of their ways to make us comfortable. We felt so special.

Family friendly atmosphere. Hughe and beautiful garden, is perfect for playing football with my son 😀 There is even treehouse 🥰 All clean and design with good taste. Amazing breakfast all fresh from own garden and homemade cakes, tartas were amazing. We’ve been spoiled like in own parents house. The internet speed is great around 80mbps. We regret couldn’t stay longer. Hopefully see you soon somewhere 😘

EVERYTHING!! My hosts were the BEST. Quick response to my late check in, even waited for me and still showed us around. So so friendly. The BnB itself is in a beautiful, tranquil location close to everything at the same time. The rooms are squuuuicky CLEAN and we had the BEST sleep in their firm mattresses (we actually want to get the brand of bed they have that's how comfy it is) We were treated to a beautiful breakfast with a fruit, homemade yogurt and muesli. Followed by a choice of breakfast so delicious, homely and warmly served. We left so inspired by our hosts' hospitality and the friendly staff. Definitely coming back here

This B&B is excellent! The host are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is made from scratch each day, from fresh breads to pastries and more. Plus, the fresh baked goods vary every day, and every single item we ate was delicious. The carrot cake was a family favorite. The hosts have a joy in their hospitality and food preparation, and it shows in everything they do. We also ate Christmas Eve dinner at the lodge. They served fresh caught fish, mash potatoes, and salad straight from the garden. It was such a wonderfully homemade meal that was healthy and amazing. It was just the break from "restaurant" food we needed. The rooms and garden are perfectly cleaned and styled. The wifi was good for digital nomads and there are nice work spaces in the lounge and porch. The shower has great pressure. We were all dragging our feet when we had to check out. We would have liked to add more days to our stay. This is a newer lodge and it will soon be hard to get a reservation when the word gets out! I highly recommend this exceptional B&B. It is excellent in value and quality.

One of the best overnight stays we have ever had! The owners' hospitality was outstanding! So considerate, customer centric and friendly!

This was the best place we stayed on the garden route. They owners are so nice. They make the most amazing breakfast. Everything is so cute and comfortable.

Be aware that in the chalet there is no bathroom door and that the room gets very brights in the morning.

The lovely family, which is running this little oasis, is very kind. They also offered a very tasty vegan breakfast. Keep up your great work! :)

A little door between the bathroom & the bedroom in our “Survival” lodge would give more privacy… but that is only a small detail :)

The breakfast is exceptional and entirely homemade. Cyndie and Maxine are so friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is clean, modern and comfortable. We decided to stay longer than expected because we enjoyed our stay so much. Great Guesthouse. Will definitely come back!

The hosts are the absolute BEST. They went above and beyond on everything. The food is sublime, the included breakfast is brilliant and the dinners we had were phenomenal. The rooms and common facilities are beautiful and well kept. We will be back to visit!!

We came back to the bWhale guest House because we really liked our first stay there. The host familiy is very friendly, warm and made us feel at home. The breakfast was all homemade, delicious and served with love! The rooms are new, beautiful and very clean. We will sure come back to this beautiful place and to this lovely family!

Everything!!! Our hosts, Gunter, Cindy, Jante and Maxine are amazing people with a wonderful story and an amazing property. They all went above and beyond in making us feel at home. The rooms are stunning and have everything you need, and the property is nestled in the bush and has been lovingly restored to what it is now. The breakfast was exceptional, and everything is homemade with love and attention. We will never need to look for accommodation in Knysna again....we are staying at bWhale!!!
