Good location. A nice little cottage.

For £250 per night I expected much more. There was zero parking - none - park where you can around the village & receive complaints from the locals. The house wasn’t very clean - carpet & sofa needed a professional clean. Bathroom needed a lot of detail attention - revealing, grouting etc. Bathroom incredibly small. Wifi/telephone wires all hanging in a bunch on display. A cut out of the carpet next to the fire was unsightly/unprofessional. The kitchen window opened an inch. We stayed when the weather was 20 degrees. There was zero air flow which made the cottage quite hot, no fan in any cupboard. Overall poor value for money.

unfortunately itv didn’t work and although we messaged the owner/housekeeper, we heard nothing so ended up watching tv on our phone!!

I really liked the quaint vibe of the house and how it is very scenic. It was also very night that the host left us a cake. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was very nice and would've been good to cook in. The variety of DVDs was also really nice, we enjoyed having entertainment. Wifi was good.

The pictures made the cottage look a lot larger than it is in reality. The cottage seemed very outdated and just kind of musty. It was extremely remote and while Blockley is a cute village, it was far more remote than we were anticipating. The cottage is also very close to neighbors which is a little bit off-putting. The bed was very springy and uncomfortable, pillows were flat, and towels were old and dingy. It was a fine place to stay but for what we paid, I would've liked for it to be a little more updated and in a better location. Speaking of location, it was on an unmarked road and was difficult to find upon arrival.
