We had a family funeral to attend in Saffron Walden and the house was perfectly located. It was also perfectly set-up for family to come and get changed pre and post funeral. Everything was comfortable, well presented and just easy.

The booking process was not easy. I registered on Booking.com in a short form of my name and it would not accept that in the identity verification. Net result I had to invest a couple of hours persuading Booking.com to amend my details. Then on Sunday I received a rather odd email advising me the WiFi and cameras were not working and that the owner would come around to fix things. I advised that the WiFi was working fine and any visit would be viewed as an intrusion into our private space. Anyway nothing happened so all good

Very cheeky host wanted to keep £250 deposit due to a stained towel. I guess towels are used to clean and stain is obvious. After lot of discussion I was refunded only £190. Kept £60 for a stain on a towel. Additionally no power sockets were working on arrival and no one picked up on the contact number. So there was no WiFi or any kitchen appliances that were functional , so had to order take away. No cold water upstairs bathroom sink, so the whole group had to use the ensuite in the room. After repeated complaints no one is bothered.

For the most part the property met our expectation. It was clean and well presented and adequate space

There was no mention of single rooms and everyone who came had a partner, listing said it sleeps 12 so assumed all were double beds. Also, no one mentioned that the hot water was controlled by thermostat so a few of us ahd cold showers. We all didn't think it was worth what we paid. .

we are very disappointed with this company. we arrived to find not enough towels, no corkscrew. when we opened the settee bed at 11pm in the lounge we realised it was tiny not a double and one of our party had to sleep on the floor. We checked out late by 55minutes on Sunday totally my error but we were charged £75 an absolute disgrace as someone actually slept on the floor as a result of inaccurate description. but no compensation was provided for their oversight. would not recommend this company

Good quality facilities especially in the bedrooms.

Needed more furniture for the number of people it can sleep. for example only had 5 dining chairs but we were 8 adults so couldn’t all sit around dining table for a meal.

A nice big airy house, bedrooms all comfortable and clean.

Not enough seats in the lounge or dining room for the amount of people the house accommodates. Not enough cutlery either, only 6 forks, the house sleeps 10! The seal on the oven door wasn’t there, lots of heat escaping. Lack of baking trays/tins. Cooker hob needs looking at as flame kept going out so the gas was escaping. No conservatory or garden seating at all.

Location was good for South Cambridge. Easy to find and well connected. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable.

It lacked amenities and furniture! It is advertised as for 10+ people but the dining table on seats 6 and there's only room for 6 people to sit down in the lounge. The conservatory didn't have any furniture which is weird as it could have been a great room. The kitchen had ostensibly no equipment unless you wanted take out and wine (lots of plates and glasses). No coffee maker, no frying pan, no mixing bowls, no jugs, no scales etc. The little garden was okay but no outdoor furniture available. The hosts used an agency who you contacted via the app, they responded quickly to queries but didn't actually do anything (all talk, no action).

Very good communication and the property is a joy to stop at very quiet, very clean, every thing you need for a stay away from home. Hosts are attentive to your needs without being a hassle all together a very pleasant stay.
