Great beach side location. Good location also for the Broulee Brew House. Best thing is breakfast on the deck listening to the birds and the ocean. Well equipped kitchen apart from no coffee machine or cafetiere.
There is only one small sofa and a chair for relaxing in the evenings. There are no markings on the hob which made cooking a little tricky. The bathroom could do with a bit of a deep clean.

Location - perfect. Layout of the apartment - perfect.
Netflix - perfect.
The inside has been refurbished / updated and it's a great layout - sleepout as you enter, second toilet, then through a door you have kitchen, living, bathroom and bedroom. There is plenty of light coming in, and it felt like a very warm and comfortable place to spend a few days.
For this cost, the cleanliness was ok but not great - the floors were a little dirty and the bathroom spa was dirty and hence my wife didn't use it.
There were some ants on/around the kitchen bench. All easily fixed stuff.
The bed in the main bedroom was not a king - for this price I would expect a bit more comfort in this regard. There was plenty of space in the room for a king.
Also, something soft to put your feet on whilst watching TV would be a great addition.

Strangely, on our first night there was sugar available in a bowl in a cupboard. The following day after some time out, we went to make another cup of tea only to discover that the sugar bowl was missing and there was no sugar. Don't understand why.

Wonderful location. Clean and nicely renovated surf shack made to tick all the air bnb boxes and look great in photos. Outdoor shower was used extensively. Great idea! Kitchen was beautiful and great to have a washing machine and dishwasher.
Open plan deck/living area is beautiful.
It was HOT! No AC made the first night really uncomfortable. It would have been great to prioritise the renno with functional comforts before things that will look cool in the photo album. Give me better cooling and MORE THAN TWO TOWELS FOR 3 PEOPLE! Property management made things unnecessarily difficult. Have never been required to send selfies, photo ID, names, and ages of other guests before using Booking.com. It's none of their business why I'm travelling or where I'm from, and it shouldn't be expected to divulge this kind of info to be able to check in.
Honestly, though. If you're the owner and you actually read this, it's an absolute winner. Some locals even told me that I had done such great things with the place haha. Please reinvest a bit into some reverse cycle and maybe a different management team. It was legitimately off-putting.

We liked the generous, light bright space with with tasteful, modern furniture and fittings. We especially liked the big wide balcony with its NE aspect and view of trees and birdlife. Its location near the middle of North Broulee beach was great for access to good surfing and walks either way along the beach and to the Broulee Island Nature Reserve.
While it can't be changed a slight negative is that it is on somewhat busy Centenary Drive. An instruction manual would be helpful with things like how to turn on and dim the lights, turn on the cooktop etc.

Great location. Great communication. A really modern and nice apartment that was set up well with the downstairs unit having a different entrance and back yard to ourselves. Front deck was definitely the best part Would definitley stay here again!
It was a bit pricey for a 1 bedroom, though a common issue in December. The couch being a 2 seater was also a bit cramped if you want to lay down comfortably to watch a movie. There were also many spider webs outside only (inside was very clean!). I know this would be hard to manage but we didnt want to use the downstairs shower as it had webs all around it. That's it though, was a really nice stay :)

Breakfast not part of the deal
Description on how to access property - ie. at the REAR of property via stairs NOT ‘thru farm style gate’ as described (this instruction was for the ground floor residence).
Would be nice if there was some milk - long live or other - in fridge. Good for people arriving late.
Also, this is not cheap accommodation so it would be nice to have a coffee machine? $80 from Aldi would suffice nicely.
To be a bit niggly - most of the cabinetry doors clank shut - adding a plastic pad (a few dollars from Bunnings) inside each cabinet would cut down on noise significantly while adding a level of sophistication for very little outlay.
All in all a great place to stay in a delightful location!

close to beach, sun drenched rooms, new and clean.
the toilet seats are a bit smaller than the base, not very comfortable to sit on. the deck outside the entrance is a bit small, especially when you bring up the luggage and open the door, a bit hard to turn around.
