Great views, lots of tea and coffee available, comfy beds

Such a cosy little room, with bags of character. As a single female traveller, it was lovely to be able to stay somewhere special and safe at a reasonable price. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable and I slept like a top. It was lovely to sit up in bed in the morning and watch the sun rise over the estuary. Also nice to be able to make a hot drink.
Communication with the sailing club about accessing the room (I got delayed and was later than planned) was easy - very pleasant staff.
I chose the ‘single room - shared bathroom’ option, which meant a trip across the corridor to the bathroom (but there are two bathrooms within a step or so of the room). If you don’t like the idea of a midnight excursion, it might be better to choose one of the en-suite rooms. I would choose the single room again though, it was such a lovely little room.

Super clean and very comfortable, will definitely stay again.
The entrance door banged every time some one came and went, no issue daytime but nighttime woke me a few times.

The place was very clean and bed comfortable ,unfortunately I attended the hotel while the weather was poor but think the view would be nice in the summer
No TV, single room quite small and bathroom a bit away from the room ,did not see any member of staff during the two days I stayed , there is no parking whatsoever on the hotel grounds ,there is parking around the hotel but its quite a walk and has very limited to no lighting in and around both the hotel and parking area ,if you have a mobility issues its quite a trek to get to the hotel

Rooms were clean and quiet with a lovely view out over the river. We had direct access onto the upper deck and so it was lovely to get up early and watch the sun rise with the tinkle of the boats rigging.
Shared bathrooms wasn't ideal but we did know when we booked and it's a members sailing club so we knew. But shared bathrooms was not actually a problem - they were clean and well looked after.

The location was fantastic, sea air and a view over looking the sailing club. Rooms were clean and tidy, exactly what we wanted and expected. Staff were excellent and made us feel welcome.
Shared bathroom was a downside but we did know that before hand and breakfast was not included.

Great sized room, comfortable, family room split into 2. Lovely area in the countryside and by the lake. Staff were nice.
No meals or breakfast served even though there is a restaurant area. The reason was it was midweek so had to get takeaway delivered and eat in our room. Bar closed at 7pm. No bus stop near, closest one is a 25min walk away on a country road with no path.

Location pretty. Good size family room. 1 double and 4 single beds. Great arrangement - double area separated by a curtain for privacy.
Uncomfortable bed could feel the springs in one of the single beds. Lots of stairs and 2nd flight very narrow. Staff not around when handing keys back. Had to wait ages.

The bathroom toilet seat was broken, the shower seals are past their best, the carpet in the bedroom wasn't very clean and there was a long grey hair in my bed. Not mine!

The relaxed atmosphere was just what I needed. Being able to eat breakfast outdoors was a real bonus, actually a luxury 4 me!
The only issue (if U can call it that), I was too hot under the 10.5 duvet as I sleep under a 4.5 in Summer mths & reserve the 10.5 for Winter at home; otherwise the single room is ideal with side harbour view.

Parked on the road, no breakfast added, single room was fine, lovely view
Didnt mind sharing the bathrooms, however a non slip mat would be useful for the bath when you want to use the shower. No extra towel or bath mat so ended up using towel to avoid slipping.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Its such a lovely setting too. The pub over the road was great for dinner too.
Shame there was no parking, but there is a car park close by.
