Had an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back. Owners respond almost immediately and the home and view are stunning. The hospitality team, Ericka and Nelson are the cherry on top. I wish I could have put them in my bag and brought them to Florida with me. The breakfast was delicious and overall attentiveness second to none. Also hired Rosa and her staff for all of our massages, 7 at a time, twice and also had Gaby from Rosas salon come and do our nails another day and was better than any manicure I have ever gotten in the US. Seriously had a great time and can’t wait to go back to Villa Zarpe. Had amazing views from EVERYWHERE

This experience did not disappoint! The house is beautiful with views from every bedroom. The view from pool deck was hard to leave when it was time to end our trip!! Erica and Nelson took great care of us. What a treat to have breakfast prepared daily as well as having laundry and house cleaned daily so when we returned from outings the home was spotless. We took advantage of the recommendation for a chef to cook two meals. They truly were delicious! Highly recommend Johan if you are considering a chef experience. Overall, the week at Villa Zarpe was amazing. Should we return to Costa Rica, there is no other place we would chose to stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Zarpe! The views were spectacular during the day and the stars amazing at night! Erica, Nelson and their son were wonderful and we really enjoyed the daily breakfast and laundry. The house was spotless and every bedroom and bathroom had lots of space and stunning views. We enjoyed the warm evenings on the patio playing giant Jenga and other games. We had a couple of great adventure days with Tomato tours and a private chef came in multiple nights - all recommended by the owners. Five star experience. Highly recommend.

This is a one-of-a-kind Villa with a view to die for! The location was ideal for us - and close to a few wonderful restaurants. The Villa is very well equipped. We enjoyed the Costa Rican welcome and the warmth of the people. Carlos, Erica and Nelson looked after us and were so kind. Loved our first vacay in Costa Rica and this amazing Villa!

Walking in the front door the first thing you see is the view out the back - amazing. We had a party of 6 (me, my wife, two teenagers and two of their friends). Everyone had their space. Kids spent the days outside (when not on excursions) on the pool deck and nights in the upstairs TV area playing games - they loved that area. Check-in was a breeze and the house has everything you could possibly need (including beach chairs, coolers, multiple ice machines, etc.). What really put this house over the top was Ericka and Nelson. Having Ericka greet us each morning and make breakfast was great. The house was cleaned everyday as well. We were able to look past the fact the Owners are Georgia Bulldog fans (we are Gators and Canes) - luckily for them, my father was a Georgia Bulldog - so they are our second favorite SEC team:). Highly recommend this house.

This house is awesome and super for anyone. 4 bedrooms with bathrooms, Sonos sound system for the house and pool AND a view that you won't find often.

There is really not much to say other than absolute paradise. The home sits up on the hillside overlooking Playa Ocotal and the bay with sunrise to sunset views enjoyed from every room - and most importantly - the beautiful pool. It had all amenities needed, was comfortable for 10, and located close to some really fun beaches and restaurants. Ericka and Nelson were wonderful and took care of us every morning really helping to eliminate some of the stresses that take away from a relaxing vacation (breakfast, cleaning, laundry, etc). I highly recommend Villa Zarpe and will be coming back in the future. Costa Rica is an amazing country and I can’t imagine a better place to take it in from.

We just returned from this special property a couple of days ago and haven’t stopped raving about our trip since we got back. The home is brand new, in perfect condition and is spectacular in every way. The entire process was perfect. We set up tours through Kristi’s recommended team (tomato) and they were all great! Erica made wonderful breakfasts every morning and could not have been sweeter to our girls. The pool and view are a 12 out of 10. The house is even nicer than the pictures. Villa Zarpe is a world-class property. The house is beautifully appointed, contemporary, immaculate, and provides a view like no other. The staff was remarkable - Kelsey, Carlos, Ericka, and Hector, were all exceptional with an attitude of service and genuine interest in ensuring our stay was memorable. Our children (22, 19, 17) raved about the amenities, i.e., pool, rec-room, Sonos system, etc. and loved every minute of the vacation. Of note, one of our close friends / family were staying in the area, and Kelsey arranged for a local chef (Johann) to come in and prepare a world-class meal for 14. Again, simply outstanding! Having traveled to Costa Rica many times - rich with great memories and experiences, this was among our very best trips! Pura Vida!

So difficult to put into words how amazing our experience was at Villa Zarpe. To start off, the pictures don’t do the property or location justice. After reserving this beautiful property, I was contacted by the management company and every single person that I spoke with from there on after was extremely kind and helpful. Shout out to Kelsey, Gustavo, Fernando and Carlos that made our vacation so easy and pleasant with all their itinerary suggestions, assistance and kindness. They will handle everything for you. I also need to mention that this property has an amazing person working there named Erika. She is the property’s housekeeper and she will greet you with a smile every morning. She makes the most amazing breakfasts! My son loved her french toast and chocolate chip pancakes and Erick taught me how to make them with her special ingredients. Her husband is the grounds keeper and security and he too was very nice and helpful. The property was so well maintained and clean. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The house has an A/C unit in every room so it was very pleasant. There were only four of us but it can comfortably accommodate more than that. The pool area is stunning! You will never get tired of the amazing view. The property owners thought of everything when building and stocking this property. We will definitely be back to Villa Zarpe! Book this property and you will not regret it!

Neither words nor pictures can do justice to this magnificent property. It has an unbelievable view of the bay and every room has spectacular window views along with spacious decks. The highlight of the house is the outdoor space-swimming pool complete with hot tub, great lounge chairs as well as regular chairs and tables and state of the art grill.. We went as a family of five but there is plenty of room for more people in this palace. Everything in the house is beautifully maintained-kitchen, bathrooms, living area complete with Sonos system that plays throughout the house to name just a few. I could go on about this amazing house, but the I also want to spend a little time talking about the fantastic concierge service that comes with the house. Full Spectrum is the name of the company, and they have a fantastic team of professionals (kudos to Gustavo and Francisco)who spent time helping us prepare a wonderful itinerary, including exploring a "hidden, magical river", going on a great ATV ride, and taking a boat ride to see monkeys, crocodiles, and colorful birds. We also were given advice on the best beaches, dining options, and a ton of other questions that came up during our stay. I can't say enough great things about Full Spectrum. They made this an unforgettable trip for my wife, three adult sons, and myself. Pura Vida!

We stayed 4 nights at Villa Zarpe and have to say everything about it was wonderful. Beautiful home with unbelievable views. Loved our sweet Erica and Nelson who kept the place so clean and cooked fantastic breakfast for us each morning, We also enjoyed our private day out on the Don Bosco sailboat. Cruised around the bay area and then had a delicious meal cooked on the beach, Finished the day with incredible dinners prepared by a recommended local private chef-Chef Veronica and Gabby. First, Kelsey, the property manager was incredibly helpful in all aspects of the trip. I booked my trip last minute. After over a year in NYC, I had to get away. She saw my booking and immediately reached out to help me get sorted as far as the COVID-required travel insurance and QR code. I had no idea about any of that and she gave me clear directions on what to do. She and her staff, Gustavo and Carlitos were great at putting together an itinerary, stocking the fridge, securing a rental vehicle, and helping me get anything else that I needed. I got off the plane and was in the villa 45 minutes later. I woke up each day to the smells of the amazing Ericka cooking breakfast. By the time I was awake, she had tidied up the place and was just waiting for me to sit down and eat so she could wash my clothes. Despite my terrible Spanish, she did a great job of chatting me up and making me feel welcome and taken care of. I think she is available to stay throughout the day, but I was more there for the privacy and recharge, so she did her thing, made me some snacks for the day and headed out. The house itself was absolutely amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The sunsets are incredible and the place is spacious and well-designed. I spent my mornings listening to the Sonos all throughout the house and enjoying the pool. Coco beach and Ocotal are close. There are many restaurants a short drive away. I also headed up to Tamarindo one day. It was a short one hour drive. Definitely get the 4x4 like everyone is saying. It's really that last mile up the hill that's a bit treacherous and if you go on any excursions, your GPS is liable to take you down some paths that don't have same definition of "paved" that you do. That, however, has nothing to do with the house or the hospitality. It was an amazing and refreshing trip and I will definitely book with Kelsey and her team again. If you ask me, I'd stop looking at other places on here and just book right now.

House...Awesome, Management.... Awesome, Staff... Unbelievably Awesome, Concierge... Also Awesome. We stay internationally in VRBOs, all inclusives, and resorts and few times a year. This has been our best experience. We stayed in a house in the same neighborhood a few years ago. This house is a notch above everything we have stayed in. with great equipment and an unbeatable view. The staff were so awesome and kind and helpful. I would highly, highly recommend this house and experience if you are coming to this part of Costa Rica.

Just wanted to reach back out to you . . .we are back home in California . . . back to reality. I wanted to let you know that we enjoyed ALL aspects of our trip . . . let me give you a few specific details: ~the Villa - We found it absolutely amazing for our group. For me, I like a house that is neither too big nor too small; and it was perfect! It fit all of us comfortably and had comfortable/stylish features. Some of our favorites included . . .the infinity pool with amazing views, the 2 ice makers, the coffee maker, a/c in every room, the game room. ~the staff (Erika aka "my angel", David aka "master scheduler", Adonis + Carlitos (our welcome committee), Tony/other shuttle van drivers - Collectively, all these people are excellent at taking care of all the details for us which allowed us to be able to just relax and enjoy our stay. For me, Erika was such a blessing; for me to know that the kids/dads would be served a delicious hot breakfast every morning that I didn't have to prepare was so valuable. Not only that, she cared for the house responsibilities so that I could really feel like I was on vacation. Please relay to her how much we appreciated her service & her patience with my broken "Spanglish". David spent a great deal of time listening to our list of activities and then making sure we had a reservation for exactly what we wanted to do. And I also just remembered that Gustavo also had a bunch of suggestions, especially for dinner, before we even arrived. And I am so happy that I was able to reach out to you on numerous occasions before our visit to help finalize our reservation. I am glad that you recommended the 4 wheel drive vehicles; my husband had fun driving to/from our destinations. ~location - Perfect!; we could travel by car just a few minutes to be in the cute town Ocotal, shopping/visiting the fruit stand and also found many fun places to visit that were an hour or so away (Tamarindo, Playa Danta, Rio Celeste, Llanos de Cortez, and many more) ~additionally, people were friendly, and currency conversion was easy I will always remember our trip to Costa Rica! ~currency - Thank to you for recommending that we use the ATM that provided dollars; it was very easy to use our credit card or pay in american dollars without having to worry about changing money to colones I will always remember our trip to Costa Rica as being one of the most relaxing! Villa Zarpe has the most beautiful view from every room, is decorated perfectly, is so comfortable and so clean! Erica made us such a delicious breakfast every morning, and did our laundry every day. She is such a sweetheart! The concierge service set us up with fishing, zip lining, a rainforest hike, and white water rafting. They were so accommodating and made everything so easy for us. I would highly recommend booking Villa Zarpe to anyone. I can't wait to go back!!!
