Couldn't have been happier with our stay, the property is beautiful and Cottonwood Lodging were great to work with. Highly recommend to a larger group looking to have ski-in/out with easy walk to Apex Lift, restaurant and rental shop.So many highlights - Beautiful view of the mountains from all levels- huge garage to keep your vehicle and gear secure and out of the weather- Large Mudroom with dozens of hooks to hang your gear to get it warm and dry for the next day.- Excellent laundry with full size washer/dryer- Wonderful master bedroom with comfortable bed, rain shower and soaking tub.- Other bedrooms were roomy with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The loft was a great place for the kids to be out of the way and have their own large space.- Kitchen was very well stocked with nice modern appliances - a pleasure to cook in.- Family room was very roomy with three! nice sofas and a great AV system and TV setup. The dining table was huge and I believe could seat up to 10 people (we only had 5 but used it often).

House is vertical with lots of stairs, but rooms on different levels provides separation and privacy. Good view of mountain through large windows is pleasant. Garage is nice to avoid snow and parking issues. Heating system is electric that turns on and off constantly with annoying fans, bring earplugs for sleep. Home is showing wear: some towels and sheets had holes in them, nightlights are there but don't work, no power in main bathroom was not resolved. (Did no one else report these?) I recommend staying here, just have modest expectations.

This was a 6 day family ski trip with 6 adults and 3 children. The entire place was beautifully decorated, but kid friendly. The top level was perfect for the kids, and the other bedrooms had large bathrooms. We loved the large 2 level glass window in the living room and real log fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked every night. I do wish the bedroom on the living room had a king size bed. There was only one king size bed and it was on the lower level. We also loved the individual heating system for each room. It was wonderful to enter through the two car garage and be able to take off ski boots in the room off the garage. We needed to put groceries in the refrigerator before 4pm, and after calling the office, the cleaning group kindly let me put in groceries earlier. We would definitely come back and recommend this home!

This townhome was an excellent rental with everything you’d expect in a luxury rental: spacious bedrooms, a 2-car garage, great wood-fired fireplace with plenty of wood in the garage, large smart TV, high-end sheets and pillows on the beds and a well-stocked kitchen for those who want to cook. The few complaints we had were relatively minor. For example, one of the bathrooms had a sink that drained VERY slowly (took about an hour) and a hair clot was left in the shower drain (I know it wasn’t my hair because of how short my hair is). Also, the Sonos built-in speaker system either didn’t work or was too complicated for us to figure out even though we read the directions and tried several times. Finally, the laundry is a bit inconvenient being in the garage, but still worked fine. A couple other positives: the property manager was particularly responsive and communicative, and the walk to the lifts only took about 3-4 minutes. Overall, anyone looking to ski Solitude / Brighton, I can definitely recommend this property.

Solitude has limited large condo accommodations for multifamily and friend groups, but this condo was perfect for our group of 10. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we would need. The communal living room we found was a tad small for 10 adults but we made that work.
The condo is easily access from the main roads and an easy walk to ski rental, as well as the base of the mountain. We love solitude in this condo allowed all of our families to spend another fabulous year on the mountain.

Very nice home with a lot of stairs and levels. Enjoyed our stay at the house. One major problem was it's Extremely difficult to find. Arrived at 10pm and drove around for an hour trying to find. Google Maps doesn't recognize this place. Solitude employees couldn't help me find either. Nobody answers phone at this hour. Once found, cannot use front door and the front porch was under construction. Garage door in back isn't marked well with address. Garage is very small 2 for 2 cars. My truck would not fit. Rough night but house is great.

We were in Utah for a family wedding at Brighton ski area. This condo worked well for us as it was close to the road and only 5 minute drive to Brighton, which we made more times than I can count in 4 days! Plenty of room for 2 couples and another single son. We had a couple of small issues with the entry code and hot water but both were quickly resolved. We went to the pool once and it was easy to access, didn’t even need the key provided. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The management company was extremely responsive, as we ended up booking this house last minute because of road closures. It was hard to locate because the snowbanks were 8 feet high, but it was the perfect location for our two families with 6 kids to walk to the apex lift with their equipment and skis. Plus, the pool / hot tub access as the club was very close. The house itself was very well stocked, and we were able to receive an instacart delivery. The rooms and decor were great, and I loved the stories behind all of the artwork pieces. The multiple flights of stairs was definitely a challenge between the altitude and being out of shape, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to ski / board the amazing Solitude!

This is a spacious townhouse right at the base of Solitude. A quick 100 yard walk to Club Solitude for the kids and 250 yards to the Apex lift. Two car garage for gear and cars. Nice layout with a great loft for a bunch of kids to sleep. Well-equipped kitchen with lots of basics already provided. Look forward to returning!

First tracks is beautiful, clean, and has all we needed for a great ski vacation! Our kids and their friends loved the upstairs room with bunk beds, queen bed, and TV sitting area - it was like their own apartment! The kitchen was well equipped and stocked including an array of spices and some pantry staples. The spring snow was icing on the cake! The only negative was poor water pressure in several showers.

I honestly can’t say enough good stuff about this property. The beds were all very comfortable and nicely appointed, the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed and then some, we were a very short walk to Solitude and the ski slopes + the bar and restaurant. The property manager was extremely responsive and made the check in process a breeze. We definitely recommend this condo!

This condo was more than we expected. One of the most well kept rentals we have been in. Very well stocked. The proximity to the lifts and the rental shop was amazing. We absolutely loved it and plan on booking next year. There are three floors so expect some stairs. Great double garage to use and great areas in the garage to store our skiis and gear.

Beautifully kept condo. Well-stocked kitchen pans/utensils/dishes, which we used for all our meals. The only thing we could not locate was a pitcher to make juice in. Comfortable beds. Excellent use of space for storage. Lots of stairs. Nice to use the Bluetooth speaker system throughout the condo for music. All bathrooms are attached to bedrooms.

This was a wonderful property. Great for our extended family. Jared was super helpful. Very comfortable with great proximity to slopes. One of the best stocked kitchens we have ever seen in a VRBO. If and when we return to Solitude, will certainly try to stay here.
