House was clean and welcoming! Beds were all comfortable which was a plus! Accommodated a large group very well! Snow removal was kept up during our stay! Cell service was poor, but the house had great Wifi. Will gladly stay again!

This cabin had one of the best back yard/fire pit area. It is a nice location, right off Highway 385. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well supplied for cooking onsite. I don’t recall that the ad mentioned it is on open range. We had cattle visiting the yard daily. Another downfall of this cabin is the comfort of their beds. New beds would definitely make this a more desirable place to stay! Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cabin!

Everything was great from the first contact to the last minutes we were there. It’s private, roomy, cozy, and peaceful.

Best VRBO experience we have had yet. great location, backyard was perfect, house was beautiful, all appliances in great shape. We may not get to stay there again as my family is growing, may not be enough room in 5 years, which is too bad!!!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Lots of room for our family. House had everything to offer! Yard was beautiful, especially the pond! Close to town and easy to navigate getting to cabin.

First, this property should not list wifi as a feature. It was basically unusable - intermittent and slow at best. Which is important since you need to figure out what is available and how to get there. Second, it was not clean. The house was dusty every where; it seemed neglected. Third, the interior is in need of repair. The wall paper is coming off and crude repairs are visible covering what i believe is damage to the walls. Fourth, the AC unit does not work. The upstairs remained in the 77-80 degree range making the bedroom upstairs not usable. Also, the screens for the window in the upstairs were gone or broken meaning you couldn't open windows. Fifth, the road outside is well maintained but this means it now has a 4-6" lip form the drive to the road and cars may bottom out trying to get into and out of the property. Sixth, there was almost no water pressure. A few pros, the great room is very nice and the pool table is fun. The property is nicely secluded and being off of HWY 385 is handy.

Beautiful property located in the heart of Black hills activities. Deadwood, ATV trails, hiking, biking, you name it. Or just sit back with a campfire and enjoy your own little piece of heaven.

Loved the privacy and the home was beautiful. Kitchen had everything for cooking for our stay. Our 5 kids and dogs loved sledding down the drive and playing in the snow. Do recommend 4wd in the winter. Thank-you for sharing your home.. we hope to come again.

This VRBO was awesome. Our family made soo many sweet memories there and the home was perfect for us. The fires and nights of game playing and mornings outdoors waking through the National forest were just amazing! Everything was provided and ample space for us and our furry friends too! Thank you, we loved it!

The cabin is stunning and the layout is nice for families. There are two bunk bed rooms off a secluded game room that is well stocked with games and a great poker table, book cases, chairs and fireplace. The living room/great room is so comfortable with a nice dining room table, very comfy leather living room furniture, absolutely gorgeous pool table, and all accompaniments. The kitchen is easy to work in and has all the needed pots, pans, appliances and small appliances as well. Blenders, crockpots, etc are all here. All glass and dinnerware is here. There is a second refrigerator in the laundry room that we realized too late. There is a bedroom and bath off the great room. There is a master suite upstairs complete with a sitting/reading/sleeping area and a full bath as well as a king sized bedroom. I can just imagine how lovely this would be in the summer to utilize all the patios and decks on this place! In winter it might be hard to get up the hill here in a car. We had 4x4 pickups. It is definately up in the woods which is beautiful but not a lot of vista scenery. Probably our only discouragements are we felt the price was high, there is some need for a deep cleaning and an electrician should look at some of the switches but overall this rental is everything we needed for a great few days in the Hills. The attention to accoutrements is exceptional!

I don’t think the description gives this property justice. It is secluded, private and so peaceful. There are hiking and ATV trails near. It is perfect for a quiet vacation, yet is close to Deadwood if you want to enjoy some entertainment. We can’t wait to go back!
