I needed a place in Wallkill NY to stay. This VRBO was perfect!

We enjoyed staying here a few days. The place has been updated and was clean. We didn't use the fire pit but we did sit outside on the deck a couple times. The sound of the river is very relaxing.

Our stay was sooo nice! It was great to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax out by the water. The place was just like the pictures. It had everything we needed. Everything was clean and the owners were great with communication. Thank you for the stay! Anything we went to was pretty close. We loved café mío it was a great spot for breakfast /lunch.

This is our third year staying at this property and each year we have really enjoyed our experience. The place is clean, spacious, and centrally located. Thank you for having us, we look forward to another stay!

Everything was very clean and exactly as listed. It was the perfect getaway for us with easy access to lots of hiking. We enjoyed the fire pit after a day of hiking. The bed was comfortable. Be aware that the stairs are a bit steep so if that is a problem for you this property is not for you. The only issue we has was that tenants in another apartment on the property were quite discourteous about parking in the driveway. They kept parking their Suburban towards the middle of the driveway and did not pull down so we could barely get around them to park our car. This is not the fault of the hosts as they gave us very specific directions on how to park so I am sure they gave the same to other tenants. But know that the driveway is shared and you should park where you are asked to. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Had a nice stay, the firepit by the river was relaxing and great. The unit was clean and nicely decorated and maintained. Owners were responsive and I would stay here again.

Absolutely loved staying in this charming, and extremely comfortable, one bedroom rental! Debbie is a wonderful host!! The beautifully decorated rental had everything we needed including the gorgeous water views. We'd highly recommend this place to our friends!

As mentioned in previous reviews, this property was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. The backyard is beautiful, leading up to the river. The steps leading up to the apartment are a bit steep so may not be suitable for elderly guests. The apartment would definitely feel cozier with some type of valance or light curtains at the windows. The bare windows felt glaring, especially at night. The king bed was comfy and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Over all, the unit accommodated our needs for a weekend.

I would say that I would recommend this property to my friends & family who would want toget a quick & short stay upstate, but still close to NYC for R&R...

We had a quick trip here just for one night after attending a wedding at a nearby winery… so basically just slept at the apartment. It was clean and as depicted in pics. If you’re sensitive to light in the morning bring an eye mask- there are blinds in the bedroom but not blackout. Would return to explore more and use the fire pit and bikes!

My second time at this wonderful apartment. It's lovely. It's quiet. It's clean. The owners keep it well-maintained. It's close to my favorite hiking spots. Can't wait to come back!

Kelly was so helpful with everything. The place is amazing! Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The Walkill River right in the backyard there. All of the rooms, furniture items, surfaces were spotless. And the AC works perfectly. Very clean air, allergy friendly place to stay. Super easy to check in and out. There was a veg/fruit stand right up the road, a short walk away for dinner additions. Kitchen had everything we needed. We went to a show at nearby City Winery in Montgomery. Very short drive. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Kelly!

Very cute apartment, perfect for a couple. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Only thing that would have been nice is curtains on all of the windows.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect and I loved how quiet it was in the area. We fished, sat by the fire pit and enjoyed sitting on the covered deck. Looking forward to another stay!

What a great place for a couple or single person to get away but still be close to many seasonal activities. I chose this location based on it's outdoor living spaces and was not disappointed. The covered porch is great for drizzly days and the outdoor seating along the river is peaceful. The apartment is private, clean and comfortable. I can't wait to return.

Kind, attentive, communicative owners. Perfect size and layout for the two of us, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Comfy bed. Lovely backyard with views and sunset. Great location, easily accessible to so many of our favorite Hudson Valley places. Can't wait to come back!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at this property and loved it. The host is communicative and supportive & the apartment itself is clean, spacious, cozy, and well-decorated. We cannot wait to return for another stay. Thank you!

We were in town for a wedding in nearby New Paltz. This lovely little house was the perfect place to stay as it was close enough but offered us privacy and a place to unwind from the wedding activities. The house was just as described in the listing. It’s separate from the main house and offers total privacy. The house adjacent looks like it’s also being STR’ed but it wasn’t a problem at all with the dedicated parking areas and separate buildings totally. Also, it was very well stocked with all sorts of little extras like -ramen noodles, pop tarts from a previous tenant, ect. There was a hairdryer and straightener for our use. The bed was very comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The view was beautiful and the Canadian geese in the river was a great sight for drinking our morning coffee. I would happily return in a heartbeat. Only thing to note is that the staircase to the unit inside the garage is very, very steep and difficult to haul a suitcase up safely. Consider taking your suitcase around to the porch entrance after you’ve come in through the garage initially. Totally manageable stairs for anyone without mobility issues but challenging if you’re carrying anything.

The one-bedroom apartment was clean, tidy and well-appointed. The deck with a view of the river was especially nice. The check-in process was easy and I would stay here again.

Cozy little second floor apartment with fantastic river views. Quiet, private entrance and everything you need to feel at home. Super king sized bed—very comfortable! My girlfriend and I were very happy with our stay and would love to visit again. Would recommend the installation of curtains or blinds in the living room (although windows appear to be tinted which helps). Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This is an over the garage modern and well equipped comfortable space with a charming covered porch area facing the Wallkill River. It is private and quiet and we observed many water fowl. The stairs leading to the apartment through the garage would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues but it was perfect for our stay.

First time in that area, was hoping to have a few more things to do, but enjoyed some wineries and dinner. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Only two things come to mind for suggestions, some window coverings and softer pillows on the bed. Other than that, great!

Kelly’s property was the perfect setting for our family to get away for a few days. The apartment was very clean and cozy, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well appointed with all you need to cook a meal. We did have an issue with the oven but Kelly was super communicative and ended up giving us a credit due to the oven being on the fritz (they are replacing it so don’t read this and worry)! The apartment is right on the water and gets a ton of lovely light. Location wise you are close to Storm King, Dia Beacon and a very cute apple orchard. Highly recommend staying with Kelly if you’re in the Hudson Valley, we plan to come back at some point!
