The property was beautiful. The natural serenity, seeing the deer every morning was very relaxing. The seclusion was welcome, yet we had all of the modern amenities needed for a luxury stay. I will definitely be coming back. The cabin and it's location really made our vacation perfect.

This cabin is by far the best cabin we have ever rented. The drive in is through a forest area and it makes driving in or out a pleasure to see. The cabin itself is gorgeous, the architecture and craftsmanship is so above what we have seen in many rentals over the past eleven years. Our stay was pure luxury and our view was amazing. There are windows upon windows of views. Even though there is a minimal amount of other cabins in this development you feel as though you are alone on the mountain. This cabin could easily accommodate three couples and still maintain privacy for everyone. Furnished and decorated with not only beauty but comfort in mind. If you have the opportunity to get into that master en suite you probably won't be in any hurry to leave. A wonderfully designed bath on one side and access to the deck by the fireplace on the other. I know most families now days include pets but having allergies I appreciated the cabin being pet-free. We have never stayed in the same cabin twice but we are definitely renting here again! Thank you for providing such a beautiful cabin our stay was our best vacation yet. Easy communication through texts but staff always provided a number someone could be reached.

This is a luxurious and gorgeous property! We enjoyed the outdoor fireplaces as well as the indoor gas fireplace. Surrounded by large windows made it bright with beautiful views. The kitchen was very well equipped. Large TVs in every room. The large shower with a tub was amazing. Nice amenities in the bathroom. Very clean. The outside spaces had tables chairs and couches. Next to a hiking trail. We loved staying at The Day Hike and look forward to a future stay! NA

Three couples gathered for a pre-Christmas getaway. The cabin offered enough space for each of us to be comfortable. We checked into the cabin on Sunday afternoon and checked out on Wednesday. We never left the cabin. Our favorite time was spent by the fireplaces. Very nice break. During the booking process I spoke with several different ladies. Each one I spoke with was personable and very friendly. The way my calls were handled made me more comfortable with making my reservations. Overall great experience.

We loved A Day Hike cabin!!! Stunning cabin with everything we needed! Wish we could have stayed longer!. We will definitely come back to this cabin! This is our 3rd cabin with Willow creek! It was as always top notch service and the service from Vicki and staff always 5 stars. I can't wait to come back!

We loved it! Would definitely be back! I was very impressed with the constant text messages throughout the stay. From the warm welcome, to the mid stay check-in to let us know that freezing weather was coming and to leave the sink dripping. The customer service remained friendly.

We arrived at “The Day Hike” cabin and immediately fell in love. I was really hoping that the pictures would do it justice and it turned out to be so much more than that! Everything was perfect and we already have told some friends that they have to come and stay. We did a lot of our own cooking and everything that you need is there. We Will definitely go back.

Unless you plan on off-roading for 2.5 miles to get to this cabin, stay away. That’s right, 2.5 miles of single-lane twisting/turning gravel roads. This is nothing more than a rental broker going through VRBO. Shame on me for not paying closer attention…going forward we will only rent from individuals only. Last but not least, the fact that they had a nice framed signed on the kitchen counter indicating “YOU MUST VACTAE THE PROPERTY BY 10a.m”…not very welcoming. This is not a reflection on VRBO, this is on Willow Creek Cabin Rentals…very unprofessional.

This was the most beautiful house I’ve stayed in my entire life. We booked a weekend getaway for my girlfriend’s 21st birthday and had an amazing quiet stay with just the two of us. The house has every possible amenity u could think of. Just book this cabin it’s the best in the area, trust me!

We love this property. The view is breathtaking, tons of outdoor and indoor seating, beds were very comfortable, it overall was a nice enjoyable quiet piece of heaven. The property is very clean and has everything you could need. The property management was very helpful and super accommodating. This is our new place to stay whenever we visit blue ridge. If you’re visiting in the winter I suggest driving a vehicle that has four wheel drive it’s a pretty steep incline up. This place is a 10 out of 10 can’t wait to visit again.

This is a perfect cabin in the woods. Both the indoor and covered outdoor fireplace really made the experience great.

Great property- great amenities- great setting

The property is amazing and was very comfortable for 6 adults. The cabin has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking materials. The property is close to downtown Blue Ridge, the Blue Ridge Marina and the Bear Claw Vineyards. We enjoyed going out each day and exploring the area and coming home to views while sitting on the spacious deck. We will be back!!!

Appreciate the kitchen, laundry, bathroom setup with towels and amenities. Housekeeping was less than desired upon and during our stay. Unfortunately the dishwasher had standing water in it and major smell, had to sanitize before regular use. Every dish removed from cabinet had to be washed before use because of either dirt, dust, greasy film. Dust on mantle in living room thick. Outside did not appear cleaned at all with old open popsicle wrappers and golf ball in sofa. Chairs not cleaned and cobwebs all over the railings. Garbage pickup happened before 0900 on check out day. Would’ve liked a “shared” cabinet so anything leftover like spices or supplies could stay onsite for next visitor. Thanks.

We absolutely loved this property. The house was beautiful. The view was gorgeous. The path up to the house is a bit scary for us Floridians but we made it! :) Communication was incredible! Donna was so very helpful with booking and finding places for us!

Everything was perfect except the fireplace not working and the lack of communication from management on the issue prior to or during our stay, even after we asked about a repair timeline. It would have been better received if management proactively acknowledged the issue and offered a solution. No acknowledgement and not responding to the question left us disappointed with the management company. We inquired via text message the night of our arrival about the gas fireplace issue and never received a response during our stay.

The property itself is esthetically very pleasing. The mornings were beautiful, the trails directly out the door were great, and it’s a really easy home to feel comfortable in. The beds were SO comfortable that I’m planning on ordering a mattress from the company. I would stay here again in a heartbeat—I just wouldn’t contact the rental agency unless absolutely necessary. I had a couple questions but I came to feel like any question I had would be treated defensively. I was not aware the fireplace didn’t work until we arrived and when I asked about it I felt like my question was dismissed. I was also told the fireplace should still work, I just needed to follow the instructions put forth in the property information (as if I didn’t read it—I get that most people don’t read the instructions, but believe me, I read everything. Twice.). But when I questioned this related to the very clear sign on the mantle, I was told that indeed the fireplace didn’t work. When I asked about the downstairs thermostat (our kids were arriving for a few days and it was very chilly in the basement), the initial response was that there had never been any problem with it before. What seemed to be the issue? That kind of response made me feel like I was making things up to complain about. Turned out that the thermostat was faulty. I will say the response was very quick and the problem was resolved very promptly, but I got to a point where I just stopped asking any questions. We have owned vacation rentals. Renters are a pain, but we always lead with letting the renter know we were listening to them and there to help solve any problem. I ended up feeling like it wasn’t worth asking the question. I also must comment on how clean the place was—there are so many areas in that house that could have cobwebs and dust and it was spotlessly clean. I did have a problem with tipping the cleaner after paying a $195 cleaning fee. I have no problem paying for cleaning or tipping a job, but who is benefitting from the $195 cleaning fee if not the cleaner? And why am I paying almost $200 for cleaning and then need to add more on top of that? I will add that if I didn’t ask for help but contacted the office to inform them of something (like a broken railing) they were very friendly.
