Such a great experience & beautiful views! Had a great time

My family and I had an amazing time enjoying what seems like an endless view. Home away from home accommodations. Getting in and out of driveway was tricky but we didn’t have much reason to leave. There was so much house for a crew of 8 and two dogs!

Pictures in the listing are very misleading because the water is down and the dock is just in an open field currently. You will not have access to the lake or use of your own private dock

All the furniture and utensils have to be replaced, Broken/Dirty/Toned out. Especially Dining table and chairs, sofas. location was good but need to prepare for parking and how to check and enter into restricted (Private) area. Initially it was difficult, later ok. Pictures look awesome but in reality very disappointing. Very old house and furniture.Customer service was good. no complain on that. Over priced for the quality of the house.

We had an extremely relaxing time with our family here. The place is very conveniently located. The instructions from the host were accurate and helpful. Everything in the house is well organized and we didn’t have any trouble locating anything whatsoever. Parking on the upper deck is a little tricky, but it is more convenient to carry luggage into the house compared to the lower deck. The wifi stopped working and we couldn’t locate the router. It wasn’t a big deal as we had very good wireless signal and used our cellphone hotspot.

Beautiful house and loved the view of the lake. Only concerns in the beginning was a strong marijuana odor which eventually went away after we opened windows to allow the house to ventilate and the Wi-Fi was down during entire our 2-day stay. We were told a technician was coming on Day 1 but that never happened and didn't want to bother having them come by on Day 2. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in this property.When we arrived to the property at Bullick Hollow Rd, we saw a very scary driveway in front of us (I insist it is scary) since the property owner had mentioned that there is a lower driveway which there was not. This one-way driveway is absolutely dangerous because no one in the main road sees you when you are coming out of drive way. we stopped in the middle of the main road and all passing cars stopped for us and in that case we tried to slowly enter to that steep driveway. After checking in the AC system was not working and we were on the phone with our direct contact until 8:00 pm to be able to run our Nest thermostat. Since then, the house was smelling bad and The floor was dirty and all of kids' socks got dirty and black in the very first hour. ( I have the picture of those). The downstairs' bathroom always smelled bad and nasty and couldn't use the shower.The best part of our stay was that beautiful balcony and we were trying to spend more time there.

This house was amazing! It was clean, beautiful, spacious, and right on the water so we could enjoy some Lake time. The top driveway is very steep, and there are a lot of bottom steps, but this is as advertised and did not hinder our trip one bit. We would love to come back!

Once the VERY steep driveway was sorted, the rest of my family's stay was quite enjoyable. Note for future guests: The top driveway, due to it's angle, is best approached via northbound on Bullick.

My family and I enjoyed the house for a weekend. Definitely want to come back!

I was able to book this house for a weekend bachelor party. The location was terrific, being located between Lake Travis and downtown Austin. The house is very sleek with terrific views of the lake.

Ames' property is breathtaking. It was so much fun and I would rent here again! The host was quick to remedy a small problem that we noticed once we checked in. But he was quick to respond, extended my stay, and very professionally remedied the situation! Some of the kayaks haven't been used recently and they were dirty inside. Plenty of parking. Can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed the beautiful lake views through the large windows and cozy porch. The Sono sound system on both floors is an excellent addition, the TV was great, and the pool table is a great touch. The large kitchen table was wonderful for the family to gather around however, the rest of the kitchen was filthy when we arrived; crumbs & goo on the counters, sticky food residue in the fridge, and so much grease in the oven it smoked up the whole house....not the best first impression & I’m still wondering why I paid a cleaning fee for a dirty house. A few things to be aware of: The stairs to get to the back door from the lake are no joke! The range of ages for my family are 31-65 and we all struggled with how many stairs were there. Make sure you’re ready!  There were no hand towels in the bathrooms or kitchen making it very inconvenient after washing your hands unless you bring a lot of paper towels.   The inside staircase from the lower level bedrooms to the upper living area were extremely steep and there was no handrail.  Instead, there is a net that was very difficult for some family members to use.  Just something to be mindful of. This house advertises sleeping for 12 but only has seating in the living room for 5 people (6 seats advertised in the pictures online).  It would have been nice to have more soft seating for family members around the TV area to accommodate the same amount of people that can sleep.  The email response time between me and the home owner prior to my reservation was stressful. I rented this home during Christmas with a full understanding that everyone else in the world was also celebrating this holiday however, as a landlord there should be someone available to assist issues/concerns in a timely manner. By timely manner I mean, my stay was 20 days ago, I’ve sent two emails because I have yet to receive my deposit back and the owner and management company have yet to respond to me. Now I get to spend my personal time making phone calls to get my money back, thanks for nothing. Hopefully my communication situation is an isolated event for this home but I read the several horrible reviews for this home and I should have believed them. The low rental price just about matches the quality of the home but I wouldn’t stay here again after taking more time and reviewing the other homes in the area.

This house left a lot to be desired. The house was pretty dirty. The flooring was extremely sticky. The grill was completely rusted out. The dock was in rough shape and not accessible. The parking was a complete nightmare.

The view is great and stay is comfortable. Will definitely book again.

The hosts were quick to respond to inquiry and booking. The decor was modern, simple and tasteful. The sweeping view was relaxing. The following is a list of information we wished we knew before booking: The rates for this house were different in another rental websites, and the rates on this website increased within hours between inquiring and booking. I didn't think I could make the 315 DEGREE turn into the EXTREMELY STEEP and NARROW front driveway from the FAST SPEED highway. It was very tight turning the car around, felt like the car was going to flip backwards going up the driveway, and when it was wet, the tires spun and slipped getting out and up to highway speed. The path to the lower parking area was a puddle laden dirt road, and the parking area also had puddles. The back stairway to the house was poorly lit, and its hand rail was not secure. Although it houses twelve guests, one low-back couch and two unconventional chairs were not adequately comfortable. There were extra pillows but no extra pillow cases. Due to prior guests ruining their washcloths, there were disposable facial cleansing sheets, but no wash clothes for showering. The bedroom window coverings didn't block light. There were no window coverings in the living room, no windows (therefore no ventilation) in the bunk room, no side tables, and dressers in the bedrooms, and no closet in the master bedroom and the bunk room. The mattress on the master bed was very soft.
