Renting this property was extremely straightforward and easy. It by far has been the easy process I have been through.

Hacienda Valle Solo is a beautiful place! My family was all very comfortable with four separate bedrooms. The owner was very helpful and the caretakers were very kind and trustworthy. The entire property is gorgeous. We loved exploring Costa Rica during the day and coming back to Hacienda Valle Solo in the evenings. The rancho, pool area and the porch were our favorite places to gather! Absolutely stunning place that we hope to visit again!!!

Our family of 7 absolutely loved staying here. We did pair up kids so that our littles were with older siblings due to the separate entrances but I was never worried not being attached via hallways and would stay again. It's a perfect set up for adults too as everyone would have their own "villa" if you will. The porch was the best place to rock and just look at the beautiful view. We fell in love with the caretakers they were so friendly and helpful. Peace of mind having them there too! Thank you for sharing your amazing home, our family had a lovely vacation.

The Hacienda Valle Solo is gorgeous and private. Plenty of space for our entire party of 6 and still room for more! The views are spectacular, the Villa is well appointed with everything you need and the Caretakwrs Milli and Kenny are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. You will need a car if you plan to go into town or on adventures, however, you could just stay in the secluded house for a very relaxing holiday.

We fell in love with this house and were sad to leave. Short distance from Tamarindo but far enough away that it’s quiet and doesn’t feel touristy. The house is gorgeous and immaculate. Caretakers are amazing. Only thing to consider for future guests is that every room has its own outside entrance which may not work for families with younger kids. We had 10-13 year olds and it worked just fine for us. Loved the pool and the property.

This place is as advertised. The on-site caretakers take amazing care of this property inside and out. The location is perfect. 10-15 to downtown Tamarindo, 30 minutes to the beaches south of town and 30 minutes to the beaches north of town. The pool is awesome. Just doesn't get any better. The only caution I would have is for families with young kids. There is essentially 2 separate buildings. The building with 3 bedrooms has a master suite upstairs which has an amazing view. The other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor but are accessed from outside. Our 12 year old took one room and our 9 and 6 year old took the other room. Our kids did fine but I could see younger kids having an issue with having to outside and up a flight of stairs to get Mom or Dad in the middle of the night. The place is very well lit so that helps. Really can't say enough about the condition of this property.

Everything was as promised - lovely property, close to town, great caretakers and Donna was very responsive. We had a wonderful vacation on a wonderful property.

In January 2018 our family spent 10 wonderful days at this property and all we can say is WOW. We were impressed by the photos but until you get there you have no idea the true beauty of this property. For our family of eight the way the house is set up worked out magically. Family can be in their own bedrooms without any noise from the main living area. Early risers or people up late will not disturb anyone. If your family is like ours that means a lot. The home is furnished beautifully, the kitchen has everything you need to make home cooked meals with ease, very comfortable beds with wonderful bedding, and don't forget the whole house is air conditioned. The grounds around the house are very well maintained and look beautiful. The pool area is a wonderful and inviting space for everyone. You just can't beat the view off the edge of that infinity pool, it doesn't get much better than that. To top it all off the on site property caretakers are simply the best. They are there when you need them but all other times you wont know they are there. We really enjoyed them. Michel the owner, sent us great information regarding some site seeing and the property manager Donna was wonderful to work with also. So with all that if you are looking to make a lifelong memory this is the place,. I personally can't say enough good about this property .

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. I couldn't possibly say enough good things about our stay here. The property was stunning- green flowers and trees everywhere and there was so much wildlife, even fireflies at night. There was a family of howler monkeys living in the trees on the property, and it was so exciting listening to them and seeing them jump from tree to tree. The property is up on a hill and is so large, there were actually some hiking paths on site that were really fun to explore and see the different views. There is a huge porch with rocking chairs and a view over the rainforest and the ocean. Even during the rainy season, it was amazing sitting under the cover of the porch and hearing the rain and watching the lightning storms over the forest. The pool was the perfect temperature and the infinity view of the forest/ocean was captivating no matter how many times you had seen it. The house is on a gated property and there was the nicest couple living on sight and maintaining the property (they were always available if we needed help with anything). The property is close to grocery stores and Tamarindo beach. The place feels like your own private resort but also feels like your home as you are staying there. The rooms were big and private and detached from the main house. All of them had sliding doors that opened to the view over the forest and ocean. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space for your clothes in the closets. Each room had its own AC that could easily be adjusted. The bathrooms were clean and elegant- they were all stone and felt very exotic. The living room had some games for us to play, and a big tv that was linked to Netflix where we could watch movies. The kitchen was big and they had all the utensils/cups/plates, etc and pretty much every appliance you would need. There was also a BBQ outside that made it fun to cook and eat and relax. Within our first day there, we were already discussing a yearly vacation back to this resort house. Such a luxurious and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone- couples looking for a romantic getaway, friends looking for a fun new adventure, or families looking for an exciting place to take their kids, this place would seriously be great for anyone!

This property is beautifully designed to enjoy the stunning views of the Costa Rican landscape, and is located perfectly for your party to enjoy the many activities, beaches, and cuisine the area has to offer.

My husband and I and our 2 young adult daughters spent 10 days here this January. The weather was perfect- sunny and warm every day. The house is well situated above a terraced landscape, and a few minutes drive away from beaches and the action in town. The first morning we awakened to the sound of a troupe of howler monkeys making their way across the back yard- magical! Great birds, frogs, and other interesting wild life abound. A perfect family spot. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill outside makes for easy meals- one could never leave the property and have a lovely vacation. We will likely be back!

What a great place to stay! Fabulous house and grounds with great views and awesome caretakers on the property! Kenny and Milagro - the caretakers, were so great! The property is close to Tamarindo but removed from the busy, crowded town. Great infinity pool and covered outdoor area for relaxing. If we needed something we could simply ask and caretakers would appear a few hours later with extra towels, etc. Also enjoyed seeing howler monkeys and iguanas on the property. We intend to return soon!

Loved our stay at Hacienda Valle Solo. The soft grassy area outside the 2nd master bedroom, as well as the rancho by the pool, made perfect settings for early morning or sunset yoga. Mealtimes sitting at the picnic table on the terrace were a pleasure as we watched birds soaring, monkeys howling, or horses grazing in the fields below. Can't wait to return!!

This house has all the extras you might want for a family reunion, girls getaway or romantic week in Guanacaste. Beautiful view, lovely pool, 4 separate rooms for whoever wants to sleep in or get up early and access to tons of beautiful Costa Rican beaches. If you want to go into Tamarindo and have a delicious steak at one of the restaurants, it's close. If you want to go to a more quiet, less crowded beach, head over to Playa Grande. If you want to stay and relax at the house, take out a book and hang out in the gazebo by the pool. Love it!
