We all had a wonderful time. The house was big enough for everyone to spread out. 10 minute walk to beach was convenient. We all loved being able to walk to town to the restaurants and shops. The pool was a good size and our grandchildren, as well as some of the adults, enjoyed the volleyball court. The kitchen was very well equiped.

My family recently stayed at Quaker Jack's and had a wonderful time! The backyard and pool was perfect for our group, who are not avid beach goers. The beach was close, and we chose to drive the couple of time we went so that we didn't have to haul all our stuff down. The house was well equip with everything you may need and the bedrooms were spacious and all had their own bathroom, which was perfect for our large group. The only downside to the house, in my opinion, was dealing with the traffic in the area when needing to make a left hand turn onto the main road. But it's not so much of a deterrent to not rent this home. We had a wonderful vacation and our thankful to have found this home for our family.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was well-kept and the perfect size for our three combined families. The beach was close enough to walk to, although we appreciated the parking by the beach for easy transport of all of our beach things. We used the pool every day. Its temperature was perfect and it was very roomy. We especially appreciated that the deep end was still walkable for our older kids.
The kitchen was well stocked and having two dishwashers and microwaves was very helpful for our large group.
We took the walk up to the shopping areas in Duck a few times and loved it! The walk was really pleasant and our little ones loved riding in the wagon on the property. Our favorite nearby stop was Donutz on a Stick that we visited several times during our stay. The sunsets from the Duck boardwalk were stunning!
It was the first time staying in Duck for most of our party, but they all left saying they really loved the location. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I don’t know how we packed so much fun into one tiny weekend. The property and all its amenities were amazing. The pool, the hot tub, corn hole and volleyball, we played them all. We played board games and enjoyed several walks to the beach. Thank you so much for a wonderful, memory filled vacation. We will never forget it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great weather. Very nice, large and well stocked vacation home. Large pool. 5-10 minute walk to beach but the bay was essentially across the street. Good fishing and crabbing too.

We had two big families stay at the property. Total of 12 of us ranging from 8 years old through adults. The set up of the house and rooms worked out perfectly for us. The house was clean and beautiful. When they say the kitchen is fully stocked, it’s fully stocked. The kitchen was amazing with the two stoves/ovens and dishwashers as you imagine a lot of cooking took place. The owner was amazing, from answering all my general questions about the area as that was our first time in OBX, Duck, providing suggestions and quick to respond when on-sight when a question came up. One of our kids left behind a valuable item and he worked with us to locate and get it shipped back to us, which was ever so appreciative of. The beach is a short trip away (walking for sure), but we did get golf carts to help with transferring all our beach gear which was great added addition to take them to the close by shops. It added to the experience with not having to drive around in our vehicles. The property has plenty of beach chairs, toys for little ones as well as pool toys and floats. Having the pool and hot tub in the evening was great, as we were all able to hang out together and swim in the evenings. I highly recommend this property all around from the house itself, location and wonderful owner.

We LOVED the location of this property! Close to the beach and dining/shops in Duck! Our family of 15 was very comfortable here! The 4 bedrooms with bathrooms were perfect for all of the adult couples. The jack and jill was wonderful for the older nieces and nephews. We appreciated the baby gate, crib, high chair, and baby toys as we had a two year old, and 19 month old as well! The kitchen is very spacious, and our family utilized the two dishwashers and refrigerators. Access to two sets of washers and dryers was a plus as well when traveling with so many kids! Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. We also appreciated the extra effort from the owners when a family member left some important documents. They went out of their way to get those back to us and we were so grateful! We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and look forward to coming back!! Such a wonderful vacation!

We couldn’t have chosen a better house for our extended-family vacation. It was absolutely perfect. Perfect location-walkable distance into town for dinner or donuts, short .43 mile walk to beach. Quacker Jacks is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need- just like being home. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the carport had beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie board, sand toys, and a variety of ball; Everything you’d need for the beach. The teens enjoyed the pool, family volleyball tournaments and 3 on 3 basketball games throughout the week. The owner responded immediately to an issue we had and it was resolved quickly. We would love to stay again!

Very nice, spacious, well maintained house in a very convenient section of Duck (close walk to town). Great amenities (heated pool, hot tub, side yard with volleyball court, pool table, smart TVs). Very responsive property manager. Having two fridges, dishwashers, stoves was perfect for staying with large family. Would rent again

The place was in a perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Spent the trip with my siblings for a family reunion. The upstairs living room allowed for all of us to gather and chat comfortably.

Great location
House was in a great location and equipped with all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay especially beach and pool. It was unfortunate that the outdoor shower wasn’t working. The owner was great and very responsive to our needs.

Perfect Family Vacation House
This house turned out to be perfect for our beach vacation. We fit 6 adults and 10 kids with plenty of room. The kitchen was amazing (two ovens and two dishwashers and all the pots, pans and cooking utensils you could ever need!) We loved the big pool and hot tub! We seriously had a blast!
Some of the babies got some midges bites out in the sand volleyball court unfortunately but the owners had posted information about this.
It was a beautiful home and beautiful location and I would recommend it!

Much needed vacation
The house was great! The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved having 2 of everything- especially the stoves. The location is perfect- a few minutes walk to the beach or town. There was a problem with the air conditioning during our stay, but it was cared for promptly. We would definitely go back.
