Couldn't check in until 5pm, and there was no breakfast available. The room was adequate, and the staff helpful.

The location was quiet and peaceful. The parking felt safe and the room, while a bit spartan, was clean and functional for a basic head on pillow overnight stay to rest on a long road trip.

It was very difficult to communicate with the lady at the reception desk. She did not speak any English at all and would just speak very fast in French as if that would help a non-French speaker understand. Generally I completely support learning local languages and using them (I speak 4, just not French), but in the hospitality industry I would at least expect reception staff to be able to communicate the basics in English when someone really does not speak their language. In the end we had to use Google Translate just to get the basics done. Even though the facilities were clean and good for my needs to overnight and rest during a very long road trip, I will not return to this accommodation because of the sense I got that even is she did speak English, she was not going to do so out of principle. She made no effort to communicate snd simply rattled off in French and whatever the paying client did not understand was their problem. The language issue was not a problem at any of the other three properties I stayed at during my trip in France.

The owners were lovely and friendly and we muddled along even though all my French has long since gone. The bed was comfortable

The majority of the rooms were tiny and it was really hard to find sufficient space to put my small dog crate. I did see one room which was bigger but this seemed to be the exception. As a result I was sleeping a lot closer to my dog than I would like -she’s restless in the night and can snore!

great, not far from the highway, good for a one night stop , sleep wake up and go
