We loved our stay at this property. It was so beautiful, so relaxing. Highly recommended.

The pictures they show are spot on. The home is beautiful and well appointed. Unfortunately, the pier to the dock was broken, the cable system that stands in for rails on the deck are out a or coming loose, and cleaning and general maintenance issues were a problem. Would’ve overlooked the smaller things if they ever responded to the big issues. A high price to get a private dock that is unusable and NO help or response when we contacted them and even sent pictures. And not even a partial refund!! Could be a great place under different management

Tranquil, peaceful setting down a somewhat terrifying road to get to the property. Many small things were either broken or didn’t work well. Master shower didn’t drain, rendering that shower useless after one shower. Downstairs shower door didn’t close so the floor would get soaked when taking a shower. When we arrived the outdoor trash cans were completely full from the previous guests, so the first evening we just set our kitchen trash out on the driveway. Varmints got into the trash overnight and made a mess for us to clean up the next morning. The trash cans never got emptied during the time we were there, so each evening we had to drive our trash down to the marina and throw it in a dumpster - about a 20 minute round trip process. There is absolutely zero cell service at the house, so calling the management company to get anything fixed was impossible from the house. Wi-fi was spotty at best - you could maybe get the weather forecast to load on your phone but that’s about it. Definitely not a place to count on being able to communicate with home or your office. Maybe that’s not a bad thing? The lake was beautiful, warm, clear, and not particularly crowded. The nearest marina, Hickory Star, is small and kind of dumpy by comparison to other marinas on the lake. Friendly folks, but very little in the way of provisions if you forgot anything. The several terraces of the deck were nice with beautiful views of the lake. The pier leading to the dock was broken and barely holding on to the shoreline. We had to use some large rocks upon arrival to help secure it, though this was a temporary fix at best. Several of the steel wire cables that were tastefully used for railing along the stairway and and the deck edges were broken. They should have been easily fixable but had yet to be, potentially making a safety issue. Overall the house was very esthetically pleasing, but it’s very obvious nobody really looks too carefully after the property other than a quick cleaning before the next guests arrive. It really is a beautiful setting with nice decor, but attention to detail was certainly lacking. For $4100 for four nights, I expected more.

The property was beautiful and clean. We got there a week before the fire was suppose to be turned on but we had a cold morning so we called and they were very accommodating. They have every kitchen appliance you would need to make it feel like home. They even have a coffee frothier in the drawer which sold us! My only complaint with this house is we had two small children and the railings are very unsafe! The wires had come loose on the upstairs balcony and the top deck. We were constantly on guard making sure they didn’t get to close. Other than that issue this property is definitely a 5 ⭐️. We would consider staying again.

We found the property exactly as described and depicted in the photos. We weren’t quite ready for all the stairs down to the lake but learned to navigate them quickly. We had great fun at the fire pit which we used twice. No bugs !!! One of us used the kayak and we fished off the dock. Did I mention no bugs !!! We rented a boat one day at a local marina and cruised down the lake all the way to the dam. Large screen televisions in every room we’re nice amenities. Did I mention no bugs ! Cookware and dining needs were top notch. Sunrises and sunsets were fabulous !!!

We had an amazing time at this home. We loved the location and the doc was amazing. We kept our boat at the doc the entire week and had no problems. Would stay again.

Very relaxing, beautiful home. All the amenities you need. Very clean. Our family of 11 had plenty of room. We rented a boat and enjoyed the lake. When we weren’t out on the lake we just enjoyed the home. The kids swam off the dock and used the kayak and paddle board provided. We had a fire every night and spent time as a family. A vacation you will never forget.

This house has beautiful views of norris lake. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, it was not the cleanest upon arrival both inside and out. The fire pit was full of empty beer cans. The cable railing for the stairs inside was loose/broken in numerous areas and outside as well. The biggest issue was the dock. It’s pretty old, many pieces were falling off with some exposed metal and nails. The bridge to the dock is broken and a portion of it was underwater. One bolt has already broken and then other one is very close..then it will no longer be attached to the dock. The dock itself is not really secured to the shore as it should be. The gear/crank for the support cable is stripped and doesn’t work. Anyways, we were expecting a bit more for the price. The floor plan of the house is great, the views are great, and it’s on a great place on the lake but don’t plan to book again.

I was a little worried that this house was managed by a management company. They tend to lack the details that makes a vacation home perfect. With that said it was pretty close to perfect. I asked if the house had kayaks or paddleboard's and was told no, but when we showed up they had both a kayak and paddleboard. Also a tube we used for pulling kids behind a boat we rented. These are the minor details that help make a house perfect IMO. The house had everything we needed, it was very clean. The rooms were small and lacked places to put clothing but that wasn't a big deal. Minor issues with doors not closing properly is a result of the new construction. WiFi isn't great but acceptable, and cellular is useless in the area. I gave this a 4 star only because I feel like it was missing some minor things that I have become used to renting a lake vacation home. But overall I would stay here again, it's a great part of the lake.

On the last night there was no water for a shower after our time in town. We couldn’t brush our teeth in the morning either. I like to keep things neat but due to the water problem we couldn’t wash the dishes we used. Lastly, calling for support was impossible because there was zero internet connection. I went with my elderly mother and prayed we didn’t have to call for help. We didn’t. Hallelujah 🎉. Provided these issues are taken care of I would definitely stay there again. Like I said, the house is amazing, clean, just spectacular.

We learned that we were just the second guests to stay since a major remodeling and very recent change in ownership. The house was immaculately clean and fresh. Lots of stairs, in case your party has any mobility limitations. In spite of a few temporary glitches that can be easily remedied, this is a superb property, and we would stay again. Especially recommended for summertime with active family or couples getaway. Only negatives are likely related to new ownership catching up: VRBO/Vacasa instructions were incorrect re: wireless network id/password and front door instructions. Very slow internet, and even poorer cell service (Verizon), so remote working may be hampered. The house is obviously electronically sophisticated, but there was no "House Welcome Packet" providing instructions on all of the cool tech niceties: thermostat, room wall heating units, multi-zone speaker system, upstairs main gas/remote-controlled fireplace, downstairs decorative fireplace, wall-mounted i-Pad non-functional, etc. The main fireplace - a big attraction - didn't work for 3 days due to lack of propane, but maintenance replaced tank, so that shouldn't be a future problem. Obvious remodel shortcuts may be problematic later (e.g. fireplace facade obviously installed after insert, and the screens/windows cannot be removed for access - even by the maintenance person! Lava rocks and glass wool not even installed on exterior side of fireplace. Lower bathroom glass shower door mis-installed; hard to open/close. Individual room heaters not intuitive to operate, and largely unusable.)

My friends and I had the most wonderful time on this beautiful piece of lakefront property! The home was clean, warm and inviting. There was plenty of room in the main areas to gather and move around to change the scenery and vibes. Lots of seating outside and inside. Our only complaints are the small bedrooms (hard to move around with a suitcase in there), slow drains, lack of supplies (bring extra TP, dish wash, paper towel and coffee!) and weak wifi. It would have been nice to have a binder with instructions on how to utilize some of the amenities such as the speakers outside and to know what checkout guidelines were. Those are all so minor compared to how wonderful this place is especially for the price. We would come back!!!

The house is very stylish yet exudes a homey ambiance! A house with incredible view! This is a place to go for when you need to relax yet wanting tons of activities for your family! Adult and kids alike will enjoy all the activities this lake house offers!!! It’s like staying on a 5-star hotel! The house smells fresh and very clean! It offers top notch quality of furnishings snd amenities!!
