This property was well equipped with all necessities. The hot tub was very much used after a full day of skiing. Great location, near restaurants and a short drive to the ski area. Highly recommend.

We chose this area and house because it was close to Tube World and restaurants. It was set up perfectly for our family - me, my husband and daughter had the main bedroom downstairs and then My brother, his wife and son had the upstairs rooms. The kids loved the hot tub! We snow tubed one day and then went sight seeing the next - a short drive to Waterrock Knob lookout, at the top of that mountain it started snowing and kids loved it. I suggest eating at Frankie’s for a nice dinner but we cooked most of the time. We enjoyed the near by shops and kids also liked the rock shop and activities. The house was very clean and we loved the Christmas decorations because we stayed right after Christmas. We really enjoyed seeing the Elk family in that neighborhood in our last day! Highly recommend!

The best and most relaxing vacation I’ve had in a long time. We stayed during the Christmas season and the house was well decorated for the season. Property management was very accommodating by letting us check in a little early.

We got a great trip from the start to finish. Getting to see the elk and everything that North Carolina has to offer. The house and neighborhood was a quiet and cozy atmosphere.

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our quick getaway for snow tubing!

Great place and access to the NC Mountains!

Great place to stay. Saw a group of Elk almost every day. Only negative was the showers. VERY low pressure made it tuff to take a shower. Probably water saver in shower head to blame.

Beautiful setting! Accurate description. No problems or complaints at all. Such a peaceful and relaxing environment. Spending time on the deck in the early morning and evenings was perfect. Loved watching the wildlife in the area as well. Highly recommend!

My family took my elderly grandmother to the mountains for the weekend, and it was the perfect trip for us all! The house is in a great location, right off the main drag in Maggie Valley, but still feels like a “mountain cabin!” The house was accessible for my elderly grandma and had plenty of space for all 6 of us. It was spotless! By far the best home we have rented. However, the neighborhood elk made the trip just magical! Each night we saw 2-4 giant elk grazing in the fields and gardens around the cabin! Thanks for a great trip, we will be back!

Sorry to see they are building a house behind you. Upon arrival we noticed the house was exceptionally clean. Only issue with stay, ceiling fan in living room does not work. The lights work but not the fan. Look forward to coming back.

Respectful of the neighborhood, we settled in as visitors to this beautiful property…situated in a neighborhood of vacation homes and full-time residences. Using this as “home based” we were out and about exploring the Smoky Mtns. and returning to enjoy the comfort of home after long days. This home was the perfect ending and beginning to each day.

Our long weekend trip was excellent. We were celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have asked for any better gift. The view, temperature, accommodations were wonderful. We would highly recommend this cabin.

This is a great property - we had a very relaxed week up in the hills. It's well located to explore the surrounding area and Great Smoky Mountains. The property manager was exceptionally helpful in resolving a problem we had while there. Would definitely recommend.

This was a very attractive, well kept house. We had plenty of room with the three bedrooms. The furniture was nice and attractive, including the sectional in the living. The beds were comfortable and roomy. The location was great with a nice view of the mountains across the valley. We had an excellent view of the fireworks of Maggie Valley. And finally, we got to see elk up close. A BIG animal.

The house was very, very nice. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 1 teenager, and two little ones, ages 7 and 9. As opposed to getting a hotel room, this house gave us plenty of space to move around and having 2 bathrooms was necessary for us! The kitchen had a coffee pot and kuerig, for those who may need to know that! We rented the home to visit Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge. However, we found the drive a little long for that daily. It did limit our time in those places but since it cost a small fortune to do anything in those places, it probably worked for our benefit! The little town of Maggie Valley is super cute and quaint. I know there's plenty to do in that surrounding area. The house is located in a development so it is most definitely not secluded but we still had privacy and the neighbor that we did see was a super nice gentleman. Overall, definitely worth the money paid. We didn't get to spend a lot of time in the home because we were visiting so many places. If we had extra days, we would've just spent an entire day at the house! The owners spell out everything that you need to provide for yourself such as garbage bags and things that aren't in the home so there were no surprises if you read what you are sent. There are stores very close by that you can buy the needed groceries and supplies during your stay. They had puzzles and games in the home that my little ones really enjoyed. I would have zero hesitation to stay at this house again if we ever revisit that area.

The cabin is very nice inside. There have been several houses added since the photo was takenand they are very close together. It appears the owners really don't want to rent their cabin. We have owned long term and short term rentals and know things get damaged and dissapear. However, the rules and regs made us feel unwelcome. I've never been asked to wash linens or take trash to an off site location. And I've never been told about other negligent guests damages. I suggest asking $5 more per night and not fine your guests for small items.

Cabin was very clean, and the location is just what we wanted. Will visit again if the cabin is open when we head back to the mountains of NC

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful. We didn't get to do our outdoor activities because we got so comfortable at the cabin. We will definitely be back.
