The location of the house can't be beat! You are on the beach and in the water in no time. Definitely will chose this location again if available.

The house is wonderful. Very well decorated. Location is the best. I would recommend bringing your own coffee. Keurig is provided. No coffee.

Unfortunately, this house was one issue after another. First, there are two beds and a bunk bed room-one bed was so bad we couldn’t sleep on it the rest of our stay and instead slept in the bunk beds. Second, go to get dishes ready to make Thanksgiving dinner and the dishwasher is COVERED in black mold! Covered!!! Third, the refrigerator was leaking on the inside so it got into some of our leftovers :( And finally, it was cold and wet outside - low 50s. But they locked the thermostat so we couldn’t get as warm as we wanted (2 little kids). They did try to install the dishwasher during our last 24 hours of our stay, but who would want someone doing that while they are in a vacation home??? The maintenance man was very kind-the door was very tricky and he came out to help fix. Again, you are paying for the view, and the view was incredible.

just a few things, upon arrival the front door was not all the way closed, dishwasher would not work and had dirty dishes in it, the film on the front storm door was torn, could have been cleaner. But, all in all, I was there about 10 years ago and I will come again, I enjoy this property and the closeness to the waters edge. We had a great time!!!!!!

A Shore Thing was a wonderful home that we rented for our vacation. The location cannot be beat. I was a little freaked out about driving on the beach to get to the home. The stairs are a little narrow. To enter the home takes some wiggling of the door. I believe this is because the lock is not aligned. Hard to lock as well. Home is very clean and very well kept. Very spacious and very comfortable. Could use some taller chairs to see over balcony. Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic location, great space, very clean, comfy furniture. The fridge needs to be replaced but other than that—perfect stay!

It had been recently updated and looked new inside. The rooms where spacious and clean. A couple small problems which were addressed quickly. Would be happy to stay there again.

Very nice stay on the beach. Walk down the driveway and you’re on the beach. Very accommodating kitchen.

The property was amazing. Very clean. Only thing I can say is the beds are terrible. Very firm and Very uncomfortable. We slept better on the couch.

The home was beautiful and clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Attempts to contact the property manager went unanswered when coffee pot was not working. It wasn’t a make or break for our trip but, if something like a plumbing issues had happened I’m not sure what we would have done. Great home, not so great property management.

End of Christmas getaway with our girls. We had a fun relaxing time. Loved loved the location! It was just what we needed.

Great house, great location! Only slight negative was the comfort of the mattresses. For the rental rate, I would recommend investing in better mattresses? But other than that, great memories!

Great location! We would definately come back! The place has a great location. We recommend renting a golf cart to get around, it will save your car from sand and sun...and it is fun to cruise the beach!

We had a great spring break visit to Port Aransas and loved staying in this property. The house was very clean, had all the basic supplies we needed, and was easy walking distance to the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for and we would absolutely stay here again!

Good location and the best view ever.

We loved the location of the property after our first visit Winter Break 2020 that we decided to go back again for Winter break 2021. Perfect little beach getaway for our family - love the conveniences of the home (laundry, ease of beach access, lots of delicious resturants near by). Only complaints are the storm shutters were not all tied down (some of the straps were broken) and therefore very noisy on windy nights.

It was absolutely clean; t's close to the water, but far enough up the (exclusive) driveway that there's no traffic noise. The layout is excellent - we brought four children ages 11-13 and the boys had one bunk room, the girls another. My only complaints are (1) the combination lock was broken when we arrived after dark); and (2) cookware is limited (bring your own paring knife and whisk), as are basic condiments (like pepper and tabasco). I'd rent it again, and probably will.

Loved staying here, and looking forward to coming back. Inside of house is modern, open and roomy, and exceptionally clean. They even had new, fluffy bath towels! The house is private and nicely tucked away, but has excellent beach access. I can't say enough good things about this house.

Great comfortable house. When we weren't at the beach, we were comfortably relaxing in the front room. Our 5 year old loved the kids room. We will be staying here again on our next trip.

On our stay the outside grill had no propane. There were two tanks, but both were empty. The door to the oven will not stay shut all the way and when you open it, it falls to the ground very quickly. I feel that for the daily price of this rental the appliances need to be upgraded. We always cook on our trip to save money, and so this was very disappointing for us.
We also noticed that the overall cleanliness of the house had gone down from our other visits. The house definitely needs a deep clean.
The bed in the master bedroom is very very firm. My husband had to sleep on the couch because it hurt his back.
Be carful on the stairs outside, they seem shorter than your typical steps. I actually fell on our last day there trying to walk down them.
Overall this is a perfect house if you are wanting a great location but are not that concerned with cooking meals. I would be hesitant to return for a 4th visit unless I knew some things had been fixed.

This is the perfect location in Port A for a beach getaway! You are steps from the beach - just a walk down your own private drive. You are also just minutes from everything you could want or need in downtown Port Aransas. The views from the porch and living area are fantastic. The size and openness of the property on the inside were exactly what our group needed to be together and also be able to have privacy. We would definitely stay here again!!

Plenty of space, large bathrooms. The living area was great for movies! We were all able to pile on the huge couch and watch A Perfect Storm! I don't want to go back to the beach unless it's in this house! Oh, and great service! Not only was it clean and stocked with EVERYTHING you could need (toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc) but we needed assistance during the stay and they were very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!
