Celebrated Mom’s 85 birthday

Great location! The best thing the place has going for it. Place had a few issues. Some of the fence rails on the deck were swinging loose which would be dangerous if you had a small child or pet. We had to prop furniture in front of the openings so our pet didn't fall through. The shower door in the jack/jill bathroom would not close so water got all over the floor. Kitchen supplies were also lacking. Need bigger pots, cookie sheets, bottle opener, more trash bags than 2 for a 3 night stay. Overall our trip was fine, but for the price I think I would book another place next time.

We had a great time and enjoyed our visit but there 2 nights where four to five cars arrived at the beach at 2 am. The cars were parked where the headlights were pointed right at the house and loud music was played until daylight. It would have been great if local non emergency phone numbers where provided to make it easier to contact local authorities about an issue.

We can in over Memorial Day weekend for my nephew’s graduation. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed it so much we tried to book it for 2 more weekends this summer since my brother lives in Jamaica Beach but it was already booked. We will definitely stay again if it is available!

Property is very nice, has everything you need other than cookie sheets, pans need updating. Deck is amazing, less than 1 min walk to beach. Beach allows cars to drive on it so although the access behind property is private, the beach is full of cars. Also beach is not dragged so has a lot of seaweed and sadly quite a bit of trash (plastic bottles, lids) however not the property's responsibility. There is renovation of a couple of nearby houses so there was some construction noise, again not the property's fault. The furniture is extremely comfy, the beds were great, outdoor shower and hose which was great for rinsing sand off my dogs. Picnic tables and grill on lower deck were nice. Have fun games available and a firestick tv. Could really improve property if they put in a luggage lift, as you have to go up stairs to bring up luggage, coolers, etc. Make sure you bring mosquito spray as they are thick! Several cute places to eat close.

House is perfect and could comfortably fit a family. View and location were perfect. As we were coming from houston with perishable food in car, would be nice to get access codes prior to the exact 4pm check in time. I didn’t want to have early access just to know the codes before having to leave the house and not worry about getting there and having problems.

Perfect for a family vacation!

This is a great house for a few days on the beach. It isn't too far from the attractions in Galveston and it has great beach views from living room and two bedrooms. It has a large porch facing the beach as well. It is very close to the beach access road that you use (to avoid snakes in the sand dunes) so really convenient. There are mom-and-pop restaurants and some convenient stores and a Dollar General nearby...lots of conveniences.

Location was good. Unit was not clean, examples are fingerprints on windows, dust everywhere..... Bathrooms average at best. For the price amenities were non existent. Supplied was: 2 toilet rolls, 1 trash bag and 1 paper towel. No beach towels. All the doors to the balcony could not be locked.

The house and the location worked out well for our family. Proximity to the beach was excellent. We did have a lot of traffic heading to the Porto-can due to house construction next door. Should point out that the kitchen left a great deal to be desired. We had 9 people… including 3 kids 6 and under and the dishwasher was not working!!!! The property manager was aware of this but did not disclose it until we called to report the issue. We used lots of paper products. The handle on the microwave is broken and the oven temp is lower than indicated. Pans are yucky and cutting boards way past their prime. Luckily I brought lots of stuff from home. All this is just for review purposes. We enjoyed our stay very much:)

BUT, we did not know that driving on the beach was allowed and for the Easter weekend, there was a virtual parking lot in front of us...cars as far as we could see, all Sat. and Sun, with only enough room between them to get in and out of cars...loud music of whatever kind the picnicers liked. All weekend, people walked on our path to the beach, even stole my son-in-law's flip-flops that he foolishly left in front, thinking it was 'our' yard! We would have liked to have been told of this possibility, and then we could have made a choice of renting there or at another part of the beach. After the garbage trucks came on Monday, we took bags to the beach to pick up trash that was overflowing the cans and not picked up. The rest of our stay was lovely and quiet, but the Easter weekend beginning of our stay almost sent us home! I don't know if the State Park being closed made a difference, but that was where we headed when we walked, since the hordes were not there! We loved everything about our stay here. The fireplace was warm, the comfy balcony porch couch was inviting at night to read a book on. The amazing beach and ocean view just made this a perfect winter retreat for us.

Everything was clean, beds were comfy, AC worked great the whole week, ice machine always had enough ice for cocktails on the deck. Also the deck furniture was comfy and there's ample shade to hang out all day and watch the gulf. Check in was a breeze and the place is easy to find. We're already looking forward to a return trip.

We are regular visitors to Galveston. Booked this in April for a few days away from the city. This property was better than many others we have stayed in. Excellent location, very clean, comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, and appliances. Great beach access right off the front deck. We look forward to our next stay at this house...very nice.

This place was great! The house was clean, layout was great and perfect for our family. The check in process was super easy (we went straight to the house) and the rental company was professional and helpful. I would absolutely rent here again!
