Location was fantastic as was the cleanliness and attention to detail.

Location superb. Good parking arrangements right outside. Had a little trouble getting into our room but resolved quickly.

there was no breakfast, it was a little apartment so you supplied you own. Location was good to town centre

V expensive but that Cheltenham! So I don’t begrudge the charge but it is v high.

Location and parking

Inside seems tired. The carpets & shower mat especially seemed old and dirty. The surfaces & bedding looked clean but the place had an air of cheaply finished (grout messy & dirty) which made me wonder about the bed. Our door was open when we arrived but didn’t seem secure when closed. There is no reception & we had no clue who else was there. I didn’t feel comfortable so we went elsewhere to stay.

No heating when we arrived, the room was very cold and uninviting.

More of a house under renovation than a hotel, room not clean, no hot water, wood lice in room, very unhelpful manager/owner who has no customer service skills whatsoever.

Right from the start communication was poor. Rooms outdated, scruffy, carpet dirty, room generally dusty and not clean. Out of date Milk in the fridge, creased sheets, dirty mark on sheet(this was changed) The other room which my friend was in was very dirty, no hot water( this was sorted out) also out of date milk in fridge, false eyelashes on the carpet along with a visiting wood louse! and no television The entrance hall was scruffy and not at all welcoming We asked if we could leave our suitcases after checking out for a couple of hours before we went home . Assured that this would be ok and that someone would be at the property . when we returned to pick them up, we couldn’t get in and there was nobody there. Frantic rush to get hold of owner as taxi waiting to take us to train . Was made to feel that this was all our fault and that we were being a nuisance. The “hotel” is really not in a fit state to be advertised as a hotel. The room rate for one night was approx £140 so not cheap.customer service not existent really . All pretty shocking and so disappointing

Fantastic location and beautiful building. We stayed when there was refurb work going on which was absolutely fine for us, as we were out during the day when works were happening and all was nice and quiet come the evening.

Ray the proprietor was friendly and helpful- the room was comfortable and the attached Kitchener were well stocked and well appointed.

Excellent location for the purpose of my visit. Great to be able to park at the hotel. The owner was helpful. Quiet location even though so close to the town centre.

Cleanness and staff is confused about the checkin time we agreed. I double checked again could we check in at 11am and he agreed. On the day, we arrived at 10:55 whilst the staff mentioned the checkin time is 12:00…. He let us in but even on the confirmation sheet it states the checkin time is 11. And we double checked it is twin bed but when we arrived it is a queen bed. They arranged it after we argued but the whole experience is really bizarre and feels like they are unorganised
